The big question though, was it with brown sauce, ketchup or did you go abit continental and have mayo?

Sorry guys I was having a nap. It was brown sauce...red is dead, brown takes the crown! Did I miss anything during my nap?

Really not sure about this guy. Probably being affected by everyone else's negativity, but still.

I hope we're all proven wrong.

Post again to get off that number mate

If Slimani leaves when he just arrives, it may unsettle him already.

Pereira, Puel, Silva, Yohan, Diabate and Puel all speak French so hopefully that helps him settle in.

I'm getting a bit bored of the "give the guy a chance" posts.

Obviously nobody's going to start booing him from his first kick, as soon as he signs on the dotted line he's our player and we'll all have to get behind him and cheer him on. For better or for worse he's City.

But I'm sorry, I'm not going to apologise for being catastrophically underwhelmed at replacing Mahrez with an awful panic buy that nobody else in Europe will touch with a barge pole, who has a terrible track record and who fans of all of his prior clubs are yelling "don't do it, he's shit."

Because why, we messed up all our other targets? Yay. Let's all be cheerful.

Wouldn't put it past Leicester fans to boo him the first time he passes backwards

I'm not sure whether to use the laugh or cry emoji.

I'll go for the "same clip already posted on this thread two days ago" emoji.

This guy is like selling Vardy and replacing him with Brit Assombalonga. We're allowed to be pissed.

Give the guy a chance

Fair point tbh we have some melts here.

Second he signs I'll be desperate to be proven wrong, no mistake. I'll be the first to put me hand up and say, fair play, if Puel gets the best out of him.

But Christ I hope Abrasive or whoever it was is right when he said this guy was just the starter and the main is yet to come.

This is literally the best thing I've seen in ages. I can't stop watching it and laughing.

We should have kept Musa, and bought back Jeff. That front three would have been so entertaining!!

If this lad is Puel's replacement for Mahrez and it doesn't work immediately there will be no

honeymoon period. It will quickly turn to sh!t.

Whomever is asking for or talks about replacing Mahrez talks fairytales.

We‘ve got to look past former players and begin a new era, with new mainstays.

Ghezzal would be a bit of an underwhelming new signing, I simply hope we‘re not paying over the odds again - after all, Monaco signed him on a free and he featured little for them...
