I know, it was partly tongue in cheek but to answer his question we have seen him play for an extended period of time but the Mendy signing has been a complete shambles.

Agreed re the loyalty bit, did Ulloa sign a new contract last season it did I dream that?

Yeah a new 50k a week deal

Wouldnt Ulloa be off the wage bill if we never gave him that contract. Shows the direction Shakespeare was taking us. 4 years for James and 2 for Ulloa. Fackin ell.

Be intrigued to know if this was Shakespeare's doing or the DOF? Blurred lines with many manager and DOF roles these days, either way was abysmal decision making.

It's just a big shame really. Could have been an able Kante replacement but we'll never know.

Based on what?

And anyway, let's face it, no one was replacing Kante and having the same effect he did for us. The man is a machine in that midfield.

Lol what the **** have I done there, can’t even be bothered to edit that.

Please don't edit it. It's genuinely the first post I've ever shown my Mrs from Foxestalk. She's pissing herself too.

FFS Rudkin couldn't organise a drink in a brothel!

Orgy in a brothel,

piss up in a brewery

Loaf in a Bakers

I really would like to know, who really is Leading the transfer business!!!

Why do we have so many players on the book...

So many, who are not going to give us a solid quality Platform to attempt a top 6 chase...

So many where the chaff has still not been sorted or defined, as access to requirements.

3 closed seasons where needed upgrade and improvement,in known designated areas havent

Been targeted. Not questioning the need to supply the Trainer, with quality cover...

If Vardy and Nacho,are out 2 strikers,,are management satisfied,with Slim,Shinji,Ulloa as cover,possible

Longtime fill-ins.

Are,we happy to have,..Albrighton..Gray...Diabate,to be the  frontfoot ,pacemakers and quick Frontlinie feeders.

Are we satisfied, that Maddison, will be the key,to recreating a quality  midfield engine with..

Silva,Ndidi, and Iborra, being the mainstay of delivering high quality partnerships, while slowly

Intigrating the younger wanna bees.

We have a New experienced CB, (Evans) ,a Captain (Morgan)who is on the wane,

and a player who upped his value Into possible Wclass status,(Maguire) who is destined to become

a terraces Idol/legend.Where is the quality young CB cover, going to come from.

Are the FB, positions reasonably covered.

Is this present squad capable,of creating and sustaining a top Puel era...

Simply do we believe and have confidence, that this squad can deliver..!! ??

The general consensus was that Mendy was having a really good camp & was probably the best midfielder out there. My hope is that the injury is not too serious but a thought for all you negative posters. Probably not tradable going into the deadline with an injury.

Not really got anything against him, you don't often see players deliberately injuring themselves.

Let's hope he is back soon and gets some football under his belt, even if that isn't at LCFC.

What is the injury and how long is he out for? He's been unlucky. I'm not writing him off unless this is another half season or more injury especially if he could be fit for Wolves or Southampton like the link suggests. There's still hope for him.

Breaking News.

Just coming out he dropped his pay packet on his foot again.

In fairness it is quite heavy and it’s likely to cause some damage...

Rudkin needs a gud shoein... Why is he not accountable for such a mistake..Mendy is not n will never be a Premiership player.. #lightweight

Really,  and how would he be responsible? His stats were superb, no doubt scouts had watched him, he'd even played under Ranieri. Rudkin just does the deals and at the time he seemed a good on. No real history of being injury prone he suffers a bad one in his second game for us, who knows how good he could have been poor chap it's just one of those things. So ... how exactly is Rudin responsible or are you just jumping on a popularist band wagon.

Injury has not been assessed yet so could even be back for the weekend. He's not been ruled out of anything.

Ok, so the Valencia game tomorrow has been scrapped then, I presume?

Shame. Thought he might come good under Puel having been captain under him at nice, but he's genuinely made of biscuits... What happened to the sports science department that used to manage injuries brilliantly?
