I think what hurts the most is that our imaginary links to players arent even inspiring.

I just want to hope!  I remember logging onto foxestalk back in 2006 and  seeing us linked to robert pires... it was just nice to be linked with someone too good for the club, it gives you hope even though its never happening. This season has been bottom of the barrel all round, except maybe 2 names.

Some one get Sean From Enderby to tweet about a superstar. Then we can all enjoy the rest of the week, before crashing to reality at old trafford where our man of the match is Benny for 2 footing 8 players and sending Jose into a stroke of anger.

If he hadn't played for Sunderland and he was just seen as a young, Belgian international coming back from World Cup and after a decent season for Real Sociedad, we'd all be buzzing.

It's the supposed bertie big bollocks attitude that worries me more than his ability

Think we need to keep Gray too tbh.

I think Gray may well be ahead of both of these, if he finally steps up this season.

Gray isn’t ahead of Adnan, I’d say theyre pretty even imo in terms of them either ending up being very good or just decent

I know I shouldn’t compare but I will! Adnan would play down the right hand side, like Riyad.

Mahrez is world class! Januzaj absolutely isn’t!

A giant NO from me. No more punting on hopeful players (yes to me he hasnt peoven shiet to warrant that sum). Bring in proven players please. If you wanna go the hopeful route then sign a player from a lower league for 500k and hope he becomes a vardy or riyad.

A ridiculous signing if we did, from being a hyped up 17yo wonderkid he's basically failed to live up to expectation and under performed at every club he's been at from Man Utd, Dortmund and Sunderland.

Sometimes you wonder what the hell goes on in our scouting department.

We are in for him. Talks ongoing.

Who is the big name signing if we’re signing both Ghezzal and Januzaj?

I think these recent talks with Rachid and now Januzaj are very much due to us not getting our desired targets in and is a case of going in late for these players that are lower on our preferred list.

I wouldn't call them panic buys, but it's not far off.

These types of signings are much more associated with a team trying to stay in the League, rather than push for 7th IMO.
