I don't think it was done to drum up an intense rivalry, just a group of fans mocked for winning "fvck all", called an inferior club for years giving a bit back from a position of strength. They'll probably get promoted at some point, we'll go down and they will no doubt remind us of these banners and comments. This stuff will have gone in a couple of days and we all move on.
