Considering it was supposedly the players that wanted him fired, I don’t think it makes much sense

Most of them aren’t here anymore anyway.

Should be welcomed with open arms any time he wants to come back.

Imagine your old boss walking into your office and everyone greeting him in open arms in front of his successor. Bit awkward init? It’s unfair on Puel tbh, now’s not the time.

Big Sam will be ok with it...

So leave it for a couple of months Claudio!

Don’t mind either way. Though Puel would probably block it for reasons other posters have mentioned.

Puel strikes me as pretty laid back in that context ...... I think he is confident enough in himself.  Claudio and he would have come across each other in French football and managers generally have strong respect for each other.

There shouldn't even be a debate about this.

He's a legend. And anyone who doubts that is a little stupid.

Name a stand after him.

Build a statue.

Under his management we won the big one and enjoyed some of our greatest games.

Not a statue mate but as I`ve suggested, a stand named after him, I would be well pleased to sit in the "Claudio Ranieri" stand !

I’d love him to come back but it really should only be done last home game of the season...

Just so happens we've got probably the most fitting one.

When will Claudio return to the KP?? Even if it’s just walking out onto the pitch at half time, so the fans can sing his name.

It’s about time he came home.

I think it's still a bit fresh. Not really recovered from the second season fully yet. Give it a season or two.

I did smile at a section of our fans who chanted at Liverpool "just like Forest you live in the past" yet every week they are among the same people that stare, stand and clap us lifting the PL trophy on the big screen prior to kick off.

Bit of a difference, we won it two years ago.

Forest and Liverpool haven't ever won the Premier League and haven't won the league for decades.

You see ex-managers go to old grounds when, they change clubs,or go to see their next opponents from the directors box,of their old

Clubs....

speak to Puel.....Invite him into the owners box...for one of the PL or cup games.Give his plaudits before the game ko.

Then 10 minutes at half-time...A walk around the ground. Saying that lost Goodbye!!

Etiquette....invite him to after match dinner, glass of wine..Helicopter ride!!! Showing him Victoria park, from an Above perspective!!! Put it on

Tv,local, and Sky!! No silly tricks from players....Twin us with Cagliara and Rom.....set up a small exhibition,to send to Cagliara/Rom on that season..

Owners and Claudio to open it!!!

Showwaddywaddy and Kasbian,to sing *Time to say goodbye"....:chant:

I would love to see him back but the timing is not right at the moment.

Puel is still under pressure and still not accepted by many.  I think we need to wait until Puel is more established rather than undermining him by parading a title winner.

I agree. It's not the right time. I say wait until he retires, and all the bad feelings and uncertainty have faded, and history is starting to get rose colored. Then throw a huge retirement celebration. Invite all the title winners back, most of whom will have retired by then as well, and unveil a huge statue showing the whole lot of them.

(unless we win the title again before then)

Personally, I disagree with him being presented to the fans etc.

Players and staff he managed still at the club.  In the future yes sure but it’s only a few seasons ago.

We are becoming Forest in some ways and doing it at some incredible accelerated pace.

For all those who’ve noted this with a puzzled face.

As part of the hospitaltiy available for the Everton game, they are reshowing the 3-1 on all the televisions in the area.

Given the shit we all gave Forest for their live tweeting of an European Cup tie....

Why does he need an invite? If he's that keen why can't he just buy a ticket and turn up, like the rest of us. I'm sure he would get the adulation from the crowd and an invite onto the pitch etc. Clough did it a Derby.

Is it just me or does anyone else not understand the whole 'move on its in the past' thing.

I for one want to look back and remember just what our little club achieved and celebrate all the players & staff involved.

Maybe its because I'm young. But we won the greatest prize in English Football, made the world fall in love with football again.

Yes its not just about one man. But bloody hell chaps.. come on!

Dilly Ding Dilly Dong!!!

Be proud yeah by all means.

Constantly feel the need to hark back with 'on this day' , replaying of games and yearning for a style of football from back then. Not for me.
