Guy behind me when under pressure from their forwards Maguire passes it 'backwards' to Chilwell... "we need to play forwards and stop being so negative". 30 seconds later when Morgan plays it down the line "What a useless ball forward"

 

When Iheanacho plays in Ricardo... "Should have played it to Maddison" 

 

When Ricardo cuts in first time... "Should have cross it" 

 

When Ricardo scores... Celebrates like we've won the league. 

 

Me... "Should have played it backwards..." 

 

Why do some fans have no clue about football and seem to think its a game of fifa where every ball has to be forward! Clueless and so frustrating to be around!

The words said to me today after I told said man to calm down and back off when he (who I've never seen before at games) 2 seats down from me was shouting at and trying to bully the old man behind him because he shouted calling the linesman a willy puller ??

I wonder if he's the guy who used to sit next to me in the Carling Stand who'd complain about black players wearing gloves. Although he also reserved particular vitriol for Kasey Keller ("fooking Americans, too late for the war and too late for that cross").

My grandad always told me that after he moved from Northern Ireland to Leicester in the 50s he started watching the Tigers every week. When my great grandma first came to visit him he took her to her first ever rugby match. At one point a Tigers player won the ball near his own 22, and ran the whole length of the pitch to score an epic solo try. After the cheers had died down she said to my grandad quite sadly, "bless him, he's run all that way and then he's fallen over, now everyone's cheering at him, poor lad".

 

I always thought it was quite endearing.
