If we drop everybody who looks needing a kick in the arse, we'll run out the same guys who came on yesterday to the total effect of kicking a few balls out of play.

I thought our bench looked strong going into this season.  But it's turning out, they are the guys who don't suit the system -- and/or are past their peaks.

I like rotating Iborra with the Pivot Twins at CM.  I'm comfortable with him, Albrighton, Fuchs and Ward.  But I would hesitate to plug more than one of them in per League match, against any side above 16th.  I'd rather give a fairly consistent XI, who have the best skills for the system we play, every chance to gel.

Definitely drop Amartey.

He had a weird performance at RCB. One minute I thought he was looking really good, then he would do something bizarre like when he kicked it in the air into our box.

We played well last game until the league's best team, form-wise, found a way around us and we made things worse with our changes. If we can play like we did in the first 30, but against a far worse team, I think we stand a good chance.

all I know is if we win.............they'll be moaning we was lucky, if we lose they'll be moaning calling for Puel etc to go

hopefully theyll be up for it Saturday and get a win

So youre hoping they're up for it ... rather than can purlel find some route to securing 3 points and motivating his players to follow his plan.

I hope we win... but if we do it may be inspite of puels underwhelming contribution

Still won't win, be lucky to snatch a point in the end due to another arsehole ref.

Now that Puel has tried 3-4-1-2 I think he should give it another few goes and with Soyuncu in there, as it gives him a better opportunity to settle in to the defence with more balance throughout.

It was odd to see Maddison playing at times as the focal point of the attack with Vardy and Iheanacho wider but that was to stop Arsenal from playing out from the back I think and it seemed to disrupt them early on. Maddison is in a spell of games where he's now becoming much more of interest to the opposition and the amount of times he gets the ball to turn and run at the opposition is diminishing. We simply have to work more ways of getting the ball to him and stretch teams, currently we're a bit too slow to get the ball turned over and the opposition's holding midfielder/s can snuff him out. I can't remember the last time he had a shot from outside the box from open play, another facet of play to be wary of.

I find the use of Albrighton as a sub, absolutely pointless. Either start him, or let him have the day off. Can't remember the last time he came on and did anything of note, he's been very ineffective but when he's started he's his old self. If we are playing wing backs now then he's competing with Ricardo who currently isn't covering himself in gold defensively so maybe Albrighton gets the nod?

Schmeichel

Evans

Soyuncu

Maguire

Chilwell

Ndidi

Iborra

Ricardo or Albrighton

Maddison

Iheanacho (Gray when he's back may play this role)

Vardy

I think we need to have a look at another central midfield pairing than Ndidi and Mendy. Mendy has surprised us this season in his competence but we are still shipping an alarming amount of goals playing with two holding midfielders and often 5 defenders in the team. Something's breaking down there and if we are still shipping goals with that protection and limiting ourselves when we have the ball, why not bring in a calmer head who's main asset is passing in Iborra and see if we evoke a change, at least in the way we start attacks. Quicker attacks, would release Maddison who can then do what the fcuk he likes.

I kinda see this as a must win.

Not for the points, but for confidence.

Lose this one, at home, in front of a full house and our heads will drop I think. And I can see shitty Cardiff doing us over.

However, I have us to beat the Hammers in a scrappy affair. 2-1

we will win this at home.

we'd better do, I've not made it down for ages and quite looking forward to saturday evening.

I genuinely don't think we're a million miles away from something decent happening.

Obviously don't know if everybody fit, but assuming so, I would look at:

                              Kasper

          Soyuncu   Maguire    Evans

Ricardo        Mendy    Ndidi       Chilwell

                           Maddison

                  Iheanacho       Vardy

Subs: Ward, Amartey, Fuchs, Iborra, Albrighton, Diabate, Okazaki

The performance for me is more important than the result.  For me to take Puel seriously I need to see 90 minutes of the kind of football we saw In the 30 mins against the Arse.

We.need to build on that, otherwise it will substantiate one of my many theories that it was Arsenal's poor start that gave us the good start.

Need to win this one. Probably be a lot harder than many think. Three of our four wins have been against teams in the bottom five so West Ham have every right to be confident of taking something back home.

West Ham are poor away from hope, and our form is not too bad, so makes for a good game for us

Given Barnes and Benkovic aren't at the club that probably won't be the line up...

Pivotal game in the Puel tenure me thinks

Can someone please explain to me where this horrible,  annoying misuse of the English language comes from...' Me thinks'?

It's worse than the word 'texted '!..

Meh!!
