Really need a win here.

 

Has to be 3 at the back- it looked fantastic until Arsenal stepped it up and we lost our way. We lose absolutely nothing by playing with no wingers and we seemed to gain a lot defensively. We'll have a lot of success freeing Chilwell and Ricardo up to bomb forward against the lesser teams too. Stick with it.

 

I'm also starting to think that Ndidi and Mendy are too similar to strike up an effective partnership. I'd bring Iborra in for Mendy.

The only game he started in the league was opening day against United and he did pretty well.

Im not saying he's pulled up any trees but we do need to try something else and without doubt he's a quality player. Its not fully happened for him yet but he's never had a sustained run in the side.

 

Mendy has been like a new signing after everyone had written him off but I think he's been average the last couple of games. Certainly Silva and/or Iborra deserve a run

West Ham are a bit like us. One of those sides where you're not sure if they'll turn up. Winnable game for us though.

45 minutes is great, but a game is 90 minutes. We need to be consistent.

 

Conceding right before half time is always a suckerpunch though, you're right.

You’re never gonna dominate for 90 minutes though. 

 

These are the kinda team that after going through a sticky-ish start they put in their best performance of the season. Whilst we should be looking to beat these, i just fear it’s gonna be one of them games where all their key players turn up.

He just posted on Instagram that he's fully recovered. Doubt he's trained properly yet though.

Exactly this. Upper Mid table teams always churn out a superb performance after 3 or 4 shockers.

I doubt @themightyfin was trolling. It came across as a manager hint simply because of the current atmosphere. I think it's more likely it'll be a player transfer request to be honest, wouldn't be surprised if it was JV...

Wthout doubt he's a quality player

.Silva is without doubt now where a prem player. Lost nearly every game he has started and he is a million miles away from what we thought we were getting. Can't see him ever starting in the prem for us again
