You're doing it wrong!

You've gotta say "Hope we win!" or "Fingers crossed for a win" but follow it up with justification of "to shut the Puel out brigade up".

:crylaugh: Seen it a few times recently, the justification/reasoning makes me laugh, as if they wouldn't want us to win otherwise.

Although I can well imagine you find this tedious, it is perhaps not aimed at you - and given that a lot of the more miserable contributors on here often appear to want the team (and therefore Puel) to fail, that is the reasoning behind the comment. By all means take offence on their behalf, but I don't think anyone means to shut you up.

Vardy dropped?

Looking at form alone though, it can't be that big a surprise?

Not sure how it can anger him though? Surely no One is above criticism?

Not the end of the world if he doesn't play – providing we don't just punt Gray up there and hope he can do the same job.

He is our only real striker lol

It's a big call to make but I can understand why he doing it.  Vardy hasn't contributed anything in recent games, Not all his own fault, but something has to change.

A big opportunity for Nacho to stake a claim I expect. But he hasn't been much better either.

The game tomorrow is now getting more interesting.

I think it could get the best of Iheanacho to be honest. Stop him dropping deep and get him closer to the opposition's goal. I don't think he has the touch or intelligence to be an effective number ten, and Maddison behind him could be quite handy.

Vardy hasn't been at it for a few games, I don't begrudge Puel mixing it up.

Where does it say he'll even be dropped though? Just references a couple of Instagram likes or comments from Vardy and his wife.

And some normal comments in a press conference from Puel.

Purely speculation.

If he drops Vardy I think he will lose what’s left of the dressing room.

Dropping Vardy and losing this game would be huge set back for Puel, reminds me of when Gullit was struggling at Newcastle and dropped Shearer.

Why do I start to get the feeling that vardy thinks he is bigger than the club and undroppable. He is yet to have a good game yet this season and the only reason he is playing is because there's No one to compete with him, why not try something new? Jamie is offering nothing so far

Vardy and John Percy speak.

He's got a bug hasn't he?

It was a mistake to play him at Arsenal and a bigger one not to sub him when it was clear that he was struggling.

I recall that Puel dropped Ricardo after the mess at Bournemouth (making me wonder if he had not listened to instructions) .....

perhaps this would be Claude taking JV to task for not coming clean on his condition Monday evening at the Emirates ??????

we were toothless against Liverpool without Vardy ...... this is an error by the manager imo and I believe will hasten his demise and departure from the club. The owners didn’t give Vardy a new contract a couple months ago for the manager to now drop him when Kelechi is hardly knocking the door down with his own form   ...........

if Vardy played Monday when he should have been more honest with Puel then he should apologise to the squad and we move on. This all looks very poor, especially with it leaking out .......

Last stand!

Brave or stupid depending upon your view

IMO IF he has dropped him it just confirms to me how clueless he is as its not whether Vards is droppable but more about how the hell has he managed to make one of  our biggest threats  so ineffective....his blunt footballing style without mixing it with our strengths shows  how he is a one dimensional manager who tactically is incompetent.

No way will the owners back him much  longer and expect a good beating if Vardy is dropped as he is a pivotal part of a dressing room which  is already frustrated  with  tactics!
