£2440 raised. Seems they are bringing two banners now. The one we have seen and one for the other four sadly departed.

Once again many thanks to all from Watford.

Hi again ladies and gents,

ive tried getting in touch with Your club regarding where would be best to send the surplus monies. Don’t seem to be getting anywhere at the Moment. We are bringing a second banner with the names of the 4 others who passed away and would really like the surplus money to go to maybe the local air ambulance/hospital and/or the charities that your late chairman supported.

And advice and links would be appreciated please

Amazing gesture this. I think it’s the leicester children’s hospital charity and also the foxes foundation. If you ask to speak to Jim at the club  he’ll sort it for you. Top bloke

What an absolute credit your supporters are both to your club and the wider football family. The media loves to feed on the bad in football but this sort of thing gives us all a bit of faith back. I hope you get an answer from the club soon but everything as you can imagine is perhaps in turmoil at the moment. The Air Ambulance is a great idea though as they do incredible work and you can't believe these things rely on charity to exist can you! Thank you.

Have you tried

mailto:[email protected]

The contact there is a guy named Jim he’s usually very helpful and has contacts within the club.

The main charity option for the club is the Foxes Foundation.

Thanks. I’ve emailed the help 1 a couple of days ago but no reply as yet.

Give it time I'm sure they have a lot going on atm.

This is such a beautiful gesture and I’m completely stunned by the amount raised. Absolutely class from Watford fans.

For the all the rivalry and competition, it’s amazing how football fans can unite at times.

We were rooting for you when you took the league by storm, and we’re rooting for you again here. I’m planning on attending the game in question; it will be great to see the banner, too.

Mate, you are a true football fan and a true gentleman. Massive respect and thanks!

I just heard that the Watford guy who organised this got chucked out today (for banging on the back wall).

Can anyone confirm?
