Like with every other decision the club have made during this difficult time, they have got it spot on in my opinion.

With the club, a ban but a more lenient one.

 

I wanted to give him a hug as well, but I didn't, imagine if numerous had and the result was a pitch invasion - it would have seen people scarpering from the pitch in what was supposed to be a beautiful moment of solace and appreciation.

Seems fair, rules are rules otherwise it could set a precedent and it's only a couple of months. Surprised social services aren't involved since he abandoned his kid and got arrested ?

I'm entirely with banning him, it was an embarrassment for Top which was not deserved. Lucky to get such a short ban, I'm unsure as to why it's been publicised as something the club have done wrong.

I can understand why the fan was upset but then again I think rules must be put in place otherwise you'll have fans running on the pitch every game. You can't have one rule for one rule for another.
