StriderHiryu Posted 26 December 2018 Posted 26 December 2018 Best game at the King Power since beating Man City 4-2 in 2016. A breathless game and we were truly up for it. We've just beaten Chelsea AND Man City... have we turned a corner? So many great talking points: - The 433 is viable. The midfield 3 of Hamza, Mendy and Ndidi has so much energy and bit it can give us a platform to build on. - Hamza Choudhury take a bow son! The boy becomes a man. This guy has a huge future with us after looking great against two top class teams. - Vardy has added to his game. He might not be such an indivual threat as in 15/16, but his all round game is superb. He is getting better at holding it up, linking it, and what a cross to Albrighton! - Marc Albrighton is another one that has improved his game. He's not just banging in cross after cross, but contributing going forward with great runs and now adding finishing to his game. - Puel switching it to 4-2-3-1. The 433 looked good but Sane and Sterling were getting too much joy because Maddison was drifting in field and our midfield 3 were understandably narrow. Hamza in the end had to be sacrificed, but the change had a profound change on our play. Maddison could start finding the gaps and playing in dangerous passes. He did this at 30 minutes in and it got us the win. Great tactical tweaks. - Ricardo!!!! This guy is the real deal. Yes if you want to be hyper critical you could say he was out of position for the first, but he was up against Sane and was a consistent threat all day long. And What.A.Goal. Get in there you wonderful foxes!

Maybe there was no meeting nor ultimatum or listening to the players. Don't know why you'd suggest there was. What do you think the snakes would have said? Play Hamza? Maybe our ITKs didn't know. Maybe Puel is just a good manager. But for sure Hamza is a future England Captain.
