sishades Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 You will all be sorry when Gazelle picks up his FIFA player of the year for 2020,
Gevans_97 Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Right. Ghezzal is starting. let’s back the boy and give him credit if he has a good game!

Number 10 as well by the looks of things, which is most definitely the right position for him. Scrap that, it's 4-3-3 isn't it. Well either way, he's still far better when he is able to play more central.

Potentially be similar to how we play with Maddison, with Ghezzal playing more behind vardy than as a winger?
lcfc sheff Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Big chance for the lad today, hopefully a similar game to the Burnley one.

NewquayFox Posted 1 January 2019 Author Posted 1 January 2019 I hope he has a great game, also hope he scores, I hope I end up with egg on my face.... Up the City...
sdb Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 To look especially bad in this side is some achievement
eddylcfc Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 And to think Puel wanted this sack of ? over Thorgan Hazard ??
tetly Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Terrible at the minute. He has given the ball away every time he has it
Brainy Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Would be great if player threads could automatically be locked during matches so that people wouldn't be sat on such threads waiting to pick up on as little as a misplaced pass, especially in a match where everybody has been shit so far, including Everton.
Sly Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 What on earth was that. Was it it a shot or a cross?!?

In case then this gets locked and I forget to write after the match can I just mention that he’s been absolutely crap so far and shouldn’t be anywhere near our squad?

Yes because your frustration has lasted longer than an hour, and the post wasn't sparked by a shit pass in the 8th minute

Guest Col city fan Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 Honestly looked not far off a pub player in that half. 12 million quid! Why do we keep buying these bang average players?
Izzy Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 No worse than most first half. At least he’s trying to make something happen
Keiriel Posted 1 January 2019 Posted 1 January 2019 He's looking nervy, but he's trying to do the right thing. Notice that he's not dwelling on the ball as much and is looking to release the ball quickly. Yes, he's given the ball away a few times, but none as bad as Maguire passing the ball to the opposition while under no pressure at all.
