Some French media outlet reporting it.

No chance. He'll be here for the rest of his career.

Not only that, it would leave us with zero options  up front (even though we can afford a replacement) but we've learned in the past, big money signings doesn't guarantee you goals and it would be one hell of a risk replacing with another flop like Slim or Nacho were/are.

there is no way we would sell Vardy in January. he is too important to the team. without him we have no decent striker who can put the ball into the back of the net or make the runs or have the workrate he has. he is too important to the team and the club. he may want one last 'pay day' at a big club and to win more honours like Mahrez or Kante before he retires but he won't 'find the love' at any other club that he has here.

Yeah sure let's sell out best goal scorer, just like last week when they were saying Chelsea would buy Wilson for £50m. This is just lazy 'journalism'.

Lazeeeee with little qualiteeee ...     and codswallop ...     :)

£50m and he's yours.

No he's not. Vardy is crucial for us hopefully for another 2/3 years. Relegation becomes a genuine possibility when he goes.

The only answer is to never let him go then ...     future Filbert Fox maybe ??    :)

If you think we aren't playing to Vardy's strength here than there's no way he'll fit in at Chelsea.

Probably won't go down very well but silly money and I'd consider. I don't think there is any interest though.

Nonsense.

a) The owners have proven time and time again that they will not sell a player until the time is right for both parties (which now really would not be) and;

b) I can't imagine Vardy himself would be pushing for this move, he'd be moving from a club where he is held up as a star to a club where he would likely be out of the team within 18 months (plus he's seen what has happened to his mate Danny Drinkwater).

Yeah I remember everyone saying the same in the summer when Mahrez went.

He's 32, he needs replacing soon enough.

A £50m offer at this point we'd be snapping their fingers off, but there are better options for them available with better return (younger), so I can't see much in this, unless Vardy personally puts in a request.

Probably been our best player but sometimes feel he holds us back, with the exception of Shinji nobody has ever managed to work well with him.

Scores against the big teams, who leave him space, but struggles when they close us down. Same applies when he played for England.
