Guest Manini Posted 10 March 2019 Posted 10 March 2019 It’ll be nervy, if they lose they’re right back in trouble again and I can see Cardiff getting a few more battling points this season yet. I’ve never been fond of Burnley so I’d love a nice Shithouse win like the first season we were up at their place. 0-1 City. Vardy deflected shot off Chris Wood in injury time.
StriderHiryu Posted 10 March 2019 Posted 10 March 2019 Burnley were awful at home earlier in the season but they are desperate for the points now. We are the better team but given this really is a must win game for them they will be more up for it. Reckon a 1-1 draw will be the outcome.
kyleolly Posted 10 March 2019 Posted 10 March 2019 Ward Ricardo Evans Maguire Fuchs Mendy N’didi Ghezzel Tielmanns Barnes Vardy
Devonfox1884 Posted 10 March 2019 Posted 10 March 2019 Only worry for me is the physicality of their front 2... not sure Evans and Maguire will cope too well. But then the only other option is bringing Wes in, and he did great at nullifying Deeney I’ll go for a 2-1 win (Vardy and Barnes).

KrefelderFox666 Posted 11 March 2019 Posted 11 March 2019 Haven't done well there recently, Burnley are fighting for points and we are looking to build for next season. Burnley 2-0 Leicester.

Arriba Los Zorros Posted 11 March 2019 Posted 11 March 2019 Hope to win and help them down towards the Championship, about time these plodders took the drop. 1-2.

NZ_Foxile Posted 11 March 2019 Posted 11 March 2019 As long as Ashley Barnes doesn’t score. Horrible whiny git, with a face you just want to slap
Ric Flair Posted 11 March 2019 Posted 11 March 2019 We pretty much relegated them when Vardy scored that tap in after Taylor missed the peno, another win on Saturday to put them in trouble would be nice. God awful team.
davieG Posted 11 March 2019 Posted 11 March 2019 The Premier League have confirmed that Saturday’s home game against Leicester City will be refereed by Michael Oliver; it is his third Burnley game of the season having previously been in charge of our home game against Everton and the away fixture at Watford. http://www.uptheclarets.com/referee-confirmed-for-leicester-game-4
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 11 March 2019 Posted 11 March 2019 I’d quite like to see Hamza involved, I like his tough tackling and his back tracking. He covers the ground quickly too. Dunno who I’d drop for him though

fuchsntf Posted 11 March 2019 Posted 11 March 2019 I want Burnley to stay up....and Dyche to carry on with his great PL post match interviews...
Free Falling Foxes Posted 11 March 2019 Posted 11 March 2019 As an aside: many, many moons ago, I recall us playing Burnley home and away in the space of a day or two! Perhaps our older posters can confirm? It would have been in the early 60s I guess.

I think we played back to back games against West Ham in the same season - possibly over Christmas and the Burnley games over Easter.
yorkie1999 Posted 11 March 2019 Posted 11 March 2019 Next 5 matches are very winnable games, could be a good end to the season yet.

They were the days, no flying to matches, not even luxury coach travel. I bet some players caught the train, perhaps even pushbiked it!!
