God awful team. I'm still annoyed by that basketball goal by Vokes a few seasons ago. Ran away and celebrated like a twat even though he knew, and most of the fans behind that goal knew, that he'd cheated. Twat

surrifox Posted 11 March 2019 Posted 11 March 2019 Can’t bring myself to dislike Burnley and whilst I naturally hope we win would prefer to see Southampton ( even more than Cardiff) down Burnley were a credit following the loss of Vichai

Blue ROI Posted 11 March 2019 Posted 11 March 2019 Our last 2 games at Turfmoor have been god awful but we were in a horrendous run of form going into both. The fire and brimstone victory of 2015 was a very significant win. It's not as remembered as West Ham and Brom but we went unbeaten away up until Boxing day. The missed penalty is one of those Sliding Doors moments for the club (And the best possible result). This in many ways is Rogers and the squad's first major test. A physical team who will try and frustrate us. Defend for their lives and then hit us on the counter. We struggled to cope against Palace but this is one of the days we have to stand up to the challenge. Will be as tough as Chelsea or Arsenal later on in the year. Bring it on.
