MC Prussian Posted 12 March 2019 Posted 12 March 2019 For spectacularity reasons, the volley against Liverpool. Most memorable of his goals up to date, and hard to surpass. In terms of importance, probably his winner away at West Brom during the Great Escape. On the international level, the goal against Germany was a real beauty and probably his most technically brilliant goal so far.
La-li-lu-le-lo Posted 12 March 2019 Posted 12 March 2019 Responsible of so many, obviously Liverpool stands out as one of his most spectacular. But for me most memorable, West Brom away in the title winning season, so typically Vardy.

For some reason I have a great fondness for his 2 at Southampton in 2015. now he has 100, take a look in the club shop close to christmas time....
AKCJ Posted 12 March 2019 Posted 12 March 2019 The first goal in this game. That was when it was abundantly clear that he was too good for the Championship.

After that match I said him and Drinky could play for England. It was embarrassing how much better we were that day (other than Steven dawson, obviously), incredible away day.

Yes N'Didi Posted 12 March 2019 Posted 12 March 2019 Best - WBA (A) 2017/18 Most Important - WBA (A) Great Escape My personal favourite - our fourth in the United 5-3
DerbyshireFox Posted 12 March 2019 Posted 12 March 2019 The Volley at home to Liverpool and the first time over the shoulder strike at West Brom last year for me, plus the 11/11 against Man United. He’s more technically gifted than many ‘pundits’ give him credit for. His finishes against Huddersfield and Watford this season demonstrate that.
RutlanderFox Posted 12 March 2019 Posted 12 March 2019 For me it’s has to be the record breaker against Man Utd. To be in the stadium for that moment was just incredible. And to watch it back on the TV to see his brilliant celebration to the away fans and accompanied by the “it’s eleven it’s heaven” commentary is chilling still to this day. From my angle it looked like it was going wide off a touch from De Gea’s boot because of the weird way the shot swerved but it was actually an excellent finish. Incredible no look pass from Fuchs too at the end of a typical Leicester counter attack. All the build up beforehand was will he or won’t he do it so to see him take his only chance of the game was brilliant. The fact it was against Man Utd who were singing the record holder van Nistelrooy’s name all game until it happened made it even sweeter and it couldn’t have been scripted any better. It finalised his arrival as a top player for me and it made his rise from non league even better. I think those 11 games where Vardy was going for the record don’t get enough recognition for taking the attention and pressure off the team for maintaining some table topping form early in the season and Vardy did well to take it all in his stride and not make it all about himself. The Liverpool volley is a close second though.

RutlanderFox Posted 12 March 2019 Posted 12 March 2019 I’d also give a shout out to his injury time equaliser at Southampton early in the title winning season, his second of the day. We showed brilliant character to come back from 2 down for a third game in a row and the finish was typical Vardy - absolutely tw*t it as hard as you can past the keeper!
CosbehFox Posted 12 March 2019 Posted 12 March 2019 West Brom a - Great Escape. It's storyline stuff. Grab the game by the scruff. Bar the Man U game, we'd never seen this side of him. A utter will of the run and sprint into the confidence to finish it off. I love his goal a year later at Hawthorns with the interplay between him and Drinky. He gets the ball forty yards from goal and Drinky is screaming for a pass but no, Vardy at this point is so confident he's straight for goal.

I have a geat picture of him standing celebrating in front of fans... you can see joy in every fans face. Yet when he scored from touchline against liverpool i just thought if we are scoring goals like that then we will win the league for definite
Babylon Posted 12 March 2019 Posted 12 March 2019 Man U x 2 Liverpool West Brom x 3 Spurs So many goals meant different things that it's impossible to pick one out, but the 11 in a row was a pretty special atmosphere.

Nuge flicks it on, Vardy flies past the defender and smashes it far post. Felt like that's when he properly arrived Probably not the best but don't see it mentioned often. Such an important goal as well Massive goal in the search for promotion, great shout
Sunny Rhyl Fox Posted 12 March 2019 Posted 12 March 2019 The two he scored up at Sunderland the year we won the league
VLC86 Posted 12 March 2019 Posted 12 March 2019 Genuinely too many different important goals to choose just one. West Brom great escape for the deaths, too many from the title win ( 11, Sunderland away, Southampton 2nd away, Liverpool volley) Sevilla away, Spurs fans halfway through singing “She’s getting ****ed in the jungle” when he pulls out an outrageous lob, his goal on the first day V Boro when we all thought he was shite. What, a, man.

The volley because it was the moment it dawned on me that winning the league was written in the stars and the West Brom goal as it was the point Vardy went into the beast mode that kept us up and won us the league. Loads of great goals but agree that the West Brom away in 2015 was the most important. If it hadn't happened then probably nothing would have followed, either for Vardy or Leicester
Stoopid Posted 12 March 2019 Posted 12 March 2019 When he scored against WBA in 2015 I think everybody started believing. Us against the odds, the outsider vibe, the belief that with him, anything is possible. For me, it all started right there. A moment of pure, beautiful elation. Which kept happening and isn't over yet.

For me that West Brom game is when he prove he could play as a number 9 in the Premier League and got his swagger. The celebration of that goal is one of my all time favourite moments.
Bugg Posted 12 March 2019 Posted 12 March 2019 Liverpool at home for me. I was stood right behind the goal and you could tell the moment he wheeled up to hit it that it was going in the top corner, also made me truly believe it was gonna be our year. Honorable mentions to the Man Utd 11th in a row goal and also the goal that put us ahead in the 5-3 at home against them.
