Stevosevic Posted 22 March 2019 Posted 22 March 2019 Incredible deal for us tbh. Can't see it though personally.

Superpants82 Posted 22 March 2019 Posted 22 March 2019 I hope so he's absolute pump. I have never ever understood the hype. 2
manders86 Posted 22 March 2019 Posted 22 March 2019 Think we should make it £75m just so it's the same price as Van Dijk... the comparisons when it all goes wrong will be much easier for the journos!!
North Leeds Fox Posted 22 March 2019 Posted 22 March 2019 He hasn't had his best season but still a good player and a good person to have in the dressing room. He does have his issue with pace and positional sense but most players playing in their first summer tournament struggle the next season. Makes sense that utd would want him as he's better than Jones, smalling and Bailly and proven premier league player. If it is 65m, then I think it's a great deal for all parties. 50 plus pereira would also be a good bit of business. 2
Haywood_6 Posted 22 March 2019 Posted 22 March 2019 (edited) I would take half of that tbh Edited 22 March 2019 by Haywood_6

Smalling's probably better and has far more experience. He's currently being unfairly left out of England team. The other two are probably the same quality as Maguire - the difference being every mistake they make at United is under scrutiny whilst Maguire gets away with his errors here. Jones at Blackburn was pretty much considered the same Maguire is now. Anything around £50million is a brilliant deal.

SemperEadem Posted 22 March 2019 Posted 22 March 2019 I know some of his mates up here and he is not keen to live too far from Sheffield. It seems to make more sense than a London club.
moore_94 Posted 22 March 2019 Posted 22 March 2019 Take the £65m, use £40m to buy Tielemans, £25m on/towards a class winger We would then still have Evans, Benkovic, Soyuncu, Morgan, and the u23 centre backs, more than good enough for next season 1

Blue ROI Posted 22 March 2019 Posted 22 March 2019 65m would be great business for us. We will sell at least 1 player in the summer and I'd rather it was someone like Maguire.

You cant deny he's made some clangers this season though , but yes he did have a good game then.
RumbleFox Posted 22 March 2019 Posted 22 March 2019 Would be sad to see him go, he is one of those players that are just so easy to like, big scruffy idiot yet goes on the odd mazy run. He has clear potential and could be a proper worldy but, having said that, he hasn't had the best season and if we could get £65m for him I think it would have to be seen a s a good deal all round. We cold probably replace him with a better "defender" whilst maybe losing a little of his creativity. In an ideal world we should try and keep all of our best players but I don't think it would be the end of the world if he left. 3
foxes21 Posted 22 March 2019 Posted 22 March 2019 Just checked Man Utd’s forum. They want Koulibaly, Skriniar or Varane. Then they end up with Harry Maguire
foxfanazer Posted 22 March 2019 Posted 22 March 2019 We won't even hesitate to sell at that price. Great piece of business
Popular Post AKCJ Posted 22 March 2019 Popular Post Posted 22 March 2019 Amazing how this forum has turned on Maguire. He's our best central defender by an absolute mile. 10
Popular Post Beliall Posted 22 March 2019 Popular Post Posted 22 March 2019 Are we trying to build a top 6 team or not? keep him whatever the offer he's only going to get better 8
