I caught a golden ball and a pink ball. Gave them both to a steward. What was that all about?

Yellow Ball £10 gift voucher

Blue Ball - Home Shirt

Pink Ball - Pink Away Shirt

Grey Ball - Grey Away Shirt

Gold Ball - Holiday and Possible Free Season Ticket ( on the way out so didn’t catch it in full)

If Rows A-G aren’t immaculately turned out next season questions need to be asked. :D

Should have kept them @LinekersApples...

Nope. Blue/Pink/Grey are correct.

Yellow was nothing at all.

Gold was either a membership or ST for next season, but they didn't mention how it gets decided which you get.

Yellow was definitely nothing - what’s the point of chucking them in the crowd then?! Kit jealous at all that we only got a yellow one rather than other colours ?

People scrapping for yellow balls, only to discover that they won you feck all!

Good entertainment that!!

I didnt think the scrabbling for balls was dignified... and suggested we only stayed for goodies.

When vichai first gave us beer vouchers i didnt cash it..i kept it.  I have had beer before but never a beer voucher given to 30000 fans.

I say today that you should keep the ball rather than encash it

Have to admit I was expecting someone to take the mic. Either Rodgers or the departing Shinji/Danny.

But great support from all who stayed back. Don't get that sort of majority at a lot of clubs in this league :appl:

Probably going to get flamed for this but far too many people on the pitch for the lap of honour. I want to see the players. Not their wives/brothers/sisters/aunts/uncles.

Or let the players do a quick jog round on their own and then bring out their families.

(Players children are fine btw)

I say it every season. Players are more concerned with their family than the fans.

I do get that they want to share the moment with their families. But it seems like it is more for them than it is for the supporters. And I don't want that to sound "whiny" but the players and their families are very well compensated for their work. It would be nice to just see them have a quick jog round on their own first. Then they can bring all the family out if they like.

I like seeing the players with their families ... was a shame that Youri didn’t seem to interact with any of the other families - he took his daughter and father or perhaps agent around with him.

Hey, I got a blue ball! Result!

Some poor lads had a rough shag and you've got one of his bollocks?

Too much ball talk in here.

The so-called 'Lap of Appreciation' to my mind should be done by the manager, players (full squad), coaches and physios BEFORE the final home game and combine it with Birchy's superb effort. No wags, kids or grand kids.

Doesn’t make a difference to me Who comes out with the players. Don’t know why people seem so offended that’s it’s not just the players.

Have some self respect ffs.

MOTD 2 good 2 bad tonight, may well show some 40 yo grabbing a ball from the clutches of a 7 yo.

Meh! I sit at the back and we definitely need to upgrade the t shirt cannons! Either that or we need to reduce the size of the stadium to give everyone a chance!

The heavy set girl trying to throw the balls in our section could barely walk straight let along reach row G.

So we had no chance.  Useless tramp.

Bit much that just because you didn’t get a £10 voucher

Don't want to moan but surely I can't be the only one to think the organisation for this was awful lol Think Shinji and Simpson should have more of a slot.
