I didnt think the scrabbling for balls was dignified... and suggested we only stayed for goodies.

When vichai first gave us beer vouchers i didnt cash it..i kept it.  I have had beer before but never a beer voucher given to 30000 fans.

I say today that you should keep the ball rather than encash it

gave it to the dog to play with, RIP yellow ball i so viciously scrapped for

Some of our fans get well touchy over such minor things..

:frusty:

You're all too far from the sea I reckon, not good for the soul.

Doesn’t make a difference to me Who comes out with the players. Don’t know why people seem so offended that’s it’s not just the players.

This.

It really doesn't make a difference with families there or not.

Mind you, if it's the only thing people have to worry about then they can't be doing that badly.

Seen someone say they care 'more about their family than the fans'. I would too lol. It's their families ffs. They get a load of shite from the fickle fans in general sometimes yet their families are there for them through thick and thin. No surprise they want to show appreciation with their loved ones to us.

What was Youri Tielemans body language like? Was he giving it the Cambiasso style curtsies to indicate he was going or did he act like a man that had just brought a mansion in the shire?

Not like Cambiasso. Just clapped the fans as he walked round (not sure what it was like after the passing the goal near the Kop).

Leicester people moan about anything. It's very strange.

I feel like moaning about this, but as I come from Leicester it's not really in my nature...

Clinging to all hope here that he stays!

Probably going to get flamed for this but far too many people on the pitch for the lap of honour. I want to see the players. Not their wives/brothers/sisters/aunts/uncles.

Or let the players do a quick jog round on their own and then bring out their families.

(Players children are fine btw)

Let me go get my violin.

I'm pretty sure this whole nonsense business of the players bringing half their relatives out onto the pitch with them was kick started by that malignant c*** Dennis Wise bringing his sprogs out with him at Chelsea one year. On that basis alone it should be disliked. But aside from that the whole thing is just way to sanitised and bloated. We're there to applaud 20 odd people and instead are presented with a mass lump of over 100. It's not easy to individually pick players out and the whole thing just seems horribly impersonal.

Why didn’t they just ask Wilf to blast the balls into row Z?

Knowing our luck if they did give him the honour of doing so he’d hit the top bin of the net every time.

Seems half the fans didn’t have a chance of getting any freebies, as the air cabins and useless throwers couldn’t get passed row G, and top passed shirts out to people that had scrambled to the front for a freebie.

thing that gets me most though is the people with signs begging for players shirts,

never used to see that at Filbert St, ?

Not only have I seen fully grown men grab for foam balls like school boys grabbing for scrabbled panni stickers in the the playground.

But now I have to read about them slagging of the cannons and the teenage minimum wage kids chucking them.

Instead of the balls, Try catching some dignity next year lads.
