Had a feeling that once we resumed playing that either us or Sheff Utd would implode and gift a euro spot to one of the big boys below us.

Can see the blades having an absolute shocker of a final 8 games now.

And has now been muted!?!?

They'll be apologising for the language of the fake crowd next.

Tbf on the non crowd option we had a ‘****ing hell’ shout earlier in this game

I did wonder if they'd cheekily put a Fvck VAR chant in anywhere for extra realism.

3 now. You know you've had a bad day when Joelinton scores against you. Decent move by him and finish to be fair to him.

Could be anything now.

Good result for us...

Newcastle at home are a hard nut to crack now.. glad we played them when we did!

I've said it before on other threads - there are honesty some teams over a given season that get an extra 7 or 8 points a season purely because of the fall of the fixtures and playing teams when they're in bad run of form. Likewise some get 7 or 8 points less as they unluckily face in form teams.

Everyone else is inconsistent though so they might be ok.

Let's hope Brighton aren't a revigorated team after their win against Arsenal on Tuesday night!

So as it stands, Wolves the only team that took advantage of our slip and they're no closer than United?

Not bad. Can basically consider that one down, eight to go.

As they say in this part of the World - It’s Good-Night Vienna to The Blades European ambitions.

True. It will be interesting to see how they respond to this. Very hard done by on Wednesday but completely thrashed today. Still 2 points ahead of Spurs and Palace, and 4 ahead of Arsenal. Difficult run of fixtures though mostly with teams they're competing with in that part of the table - Man Utd, Arsenal, Spurs, Burnley, Wolves, Chelsea, us. I'd love to see them in Europe though.

Not overly fussed about Chelsea tbh, fourth isn't the end of the world and I think they've got enough genuine quality to stay top four.

sheffield united were horrendous today, though credit to newcastle for a decent performance.

wilders done a great job there, but they looked like  a poor pulis team away from home today leggy, lacking ideas pace or movement.

Shows the amazing job  Wilder's done to get them into the top ten of the prem with what is basically a mid table championship level squad on paper. But if he play like that against united with fernandes and pogba on wednesday it wont be pretty.
