strangely that adage has fallen apart last few weeks .... I can’t recall that generally reliable rule of thumb being so unreliable as in the past couple weeks

you would have to think think that Man City players will be so totally committed for the whole 90 mins that we surely can’t get anything.

Yes, this sounds a better description.

I guess why would we ever need to chase the game if we're losing, other than Rodgers going ballistic on the touchline.

He's the Kingslayer tonight either way.

Oh how I much I hope Leicester prove me wrong and finally put to bed how little I know about football.

The bin dippers have been going on about us dropping points  for weeks!! First palace away then spurs at home followed by the scum away then Burnley away.   and how many points did we drop none. We have been there before when the pressure is on we seem to get even better and stronger. 12 games unbeaten we won’t let it slip now??? 3-1 tonight followed by 4 at Brighton cant see any other result to be honest.

Wait til 10 O'clock.  You'll see another result then.

Anyone who thinks Man Utd aren't an attractive proposition to a huge number of players is living in cloud cuckoo land. They are one of the biggest clubs in the world. The prestige for your career of playing for them is enormous. They also pay big wages.

Clubs like us will be under enormous agent pressure this summer as the so-called big 6 look to add to their squads. Clubs of our stature have several players any of them might want and if they come calling with serious money will probably not be able to resist.

On tonight's game there is a huge amount of press hype about the possibility of an upset but they have had a whole week to prepare and of go there and open up they will rip us apart.

At least if we do lose it is less likely Liverpool will win the title.

I think people feeling that Man U aren't an attractive proposition is because Ed Woodward currently resides at 1 Cloud Cuckoo Lane, Cloud Cuckoo City, Cloud Cuckoo Land.

I have to agree, the Man Utd recruitment team are not in such a strong position as they were 6 years ago.

I’ll turn NBC on in a few hours, and “the two Robbies” and/or Kyle Martino will say:  snowball's chance in hell.

With KdB and especially Fernandinho out ...

With our best XI on the pitch and starting to gel ...

With no pressure on our young’uns …

Yeh i agree, Puel brought us some good signings and cleared out some shit, just a shame he couldn't make it work on the pitch. Not very often will 4 of the top 6 be as poor as they have this season. Arsenal and United have been considerably worse than spurs and chelsea but neither of them have been great in the league either.

Could be true but that was said the year we won the league. And Man United/Arsenal still haven't been great since. I feel they both need another year or 2 to clean out their squad and fill it full of actual CL quality players again. I could see both of them struggling again next season and the table could well be open for us/Wolves/Everton etc to take advantage. Not sure what to think about Chelsea, they could well find themselves in a spot of bother too if hazard goes.

Do hope we play the right way tonight, our job is Leicester City and not Liverpool.

If it's 1-1 in the 90th minute Kasper goes up for a corner - a point means nothing for us.

Man City break away and walk it into an empty net.

Cue FA investigation and allegations of corruption...:o

Yeh i agree. Really wouldnt surprise me if the likes of us and wolves are fighting for top 6 next year if we buy wisely in the summer. Cant see united improving with OGS in charge.

Pressure is a strange thing. Even with players of the Calibre Man City have.

Go and have a read of the last few pages of the match thread on blue moon, they’re all sitting their with their tin foil hats convincing each other everyone involved in football is bent and out to get them, very strange lol

Absolutely crucial that we don't concede early. Pep looks hugely stressed and the longer it goes scoreless his stress will transmit to their players. Klopp seems so much calmer to me.
