Leicester_Loyal Posted 4 July 2020 Posted 4 July 2020 Waghorn sent off. Remember when we used to think he was the messiah?
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 July 2020 Posted 4 July 2020 Ahahhahaha get the **** in you shaggers
The Bear Posted 4 July 2020 Posted 4 July 2020 Spawny bastards. Loads of possession but feck all with it. Forest were by far the better team.

Wonderful ain't it, the events of the past half hour have made our inevitable Roy schooling slightly more bearable.
Corky Posted 4 July 2020 Posted 4 July 2020 Brentford and Fulham both winning, West Brom should beat Hull tomorrow so the gap will stay at five points. Bristol City in terrible form. Lee Johnson always seems a man who will get sacked, then gets a good run going, it falls apart and he's still under pressure.

Corky Posted 4 July 2020 Posted 4 July 2020 I'm not surprised, as I said he always seemed under pressure so four defeats in a row and play-offs gone. Hasn't managed a top six finish in four seasons at a very ambitious club.

Usually see them in the top 6 at Christmas only for them to fall away and end up about 10th, seems like every season.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 July 2020 Posted 4 July 2020 They've dipped off but I thought relatively speaking he was doing okay there? I know they've got ambitions but there are bigger and wealthier clubs in that division with the same thing in mind in all, having Bristol City competing up near the play offs is decent on the face of it (however you can scratch that if he's spent a small fortune, not aware of how much cash he's had to throw about). I guess he's been there a while and a fresh face could see them right.

He's had a decent budget, which had probably got bigger each season as the owner has probably finished any significant spend on the stadium now, and tbf if you look at the history of Bristol City to have them knocking around the playoffs for four seasons is decent from Johnson. However the fact that there has been no noticeable advancement year on year and the football is so ****ing boring has probably done for him.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 4 July 2020 Posted 4 July 2020 Preston and Bristol every season flirt with the top six then fall short. Very odd

Neil has done well with them, no doubt, but they seem to win 10 then lose 10. I would like to see them finish top 6 though.
StanSP Posted 5 July 2020 Posted 5 July 2020 Luton vs Barnsley on Tuesday. Both got thrashed yesterday. 24th vs 23rd. Loser definitely down? I mean, they probably both are but if one loses on Tuesday that's probably the final nail...

Was yesterday the first Jones has lost since his return? Pretty sure it was. After Barnsley they've got games against Hull and Huddersfield. Where as Barnsley have got better teams to play such as Forest, Leeds and Brentford. I know Hull have got Wigan and obviously Luton to play.
Corky Posted 5 July 2020 Posted 5 July 2020 An illusion I know but Swansea must have the most 12pm Sunday kick-offs this season.
