Imagine meekly handing over your ticket for "inspection" and losing it!

Us Brits are gullible for an inspection from formal looking people put a hi-vis on and you can get away with most things
Matt Posted 1 June 2019 Posted 1 June 2019 Desperately want neither, but someone has to. I was siding with Liverpool, it just doesn’t feel as bad as it would them winning the league. However, I’ve just been down the gym and they’re (Liverpool fans) all there mouthing off, shouting their mouths off, giving it the bigun’, I doubt they’ve ever been to a game. To add to this all the stories of them trying to get in the stadium, whether it be dress up as stewards, fake tickets - it doesn’t feel great going here but it has to be said, have they learnt nothing in the past disasters? They can’t go around dwelling on that then have no regret or disregard for crowd safety, stadium safety and overcrowding then go pulling stunts like that. So i’m now thinking would Tottenham winning be that bad all things considered, as I’ve said I want neither to win, the positive is one of them has to lose I guess

Staffs Fox Posted 1 June 2019 Posted 1 June 2019 It surely has to be Liverpool, Even taking my personal hatred towards Spurs aside (I was sat 10 yards from their fans during the 99 league cup final). You’d honestly never hear the end of this if Spurs won. Yes Liverpool have more fans and more media members but this would be 1 of 6. For a club like Spurs this would be it, they’d have statues build of the entire 11 plus Poch, they’d have a remembrance parade every year, they’d rename the club to CL Winners 19 XI, it’d be unbearable
