Sound goes off if Macca does Mull of Kintyre. Honestly prefer the Frog Chorus.

Mull of Kintyre is one of my favourites. What a time to write a song like that when the rest of the Country was into punk. But then again I have always loved bagpipes so I think it maybe that for me.

I'm looking forward to seeing him later on but also nervous at the same time, he is 80 after all. He's been doing songs like Can't Buy Me Love in recent gigs which I feel could be too fast for him now.

Also looking forward to Noel Gallagher before. Not yet caught up on Wet Leg, Wolf Alice and Haim but will be later on iPlayer or Catch Up.

I always look forward to hearing bands I've never heard before, not really interested in seeing my fave artists especially as festivals rarely see them at their best.  Have to say though not seen anything new that I've dug yet...but hopefuly i will discover a few new gems.

The first two songs I learnt on guitar when I was 18 in '77 was MoK and Pretty Vacant. It was only ever going one way. Made all the worse at the Has never been famous stadium.

See the Idles? :o:thumbup:

I thought it was extremely lack lustre until the oasis tunes came out and why was a random woman playing the scissors lol

Probably would be if you aren’t familiar with much of his solo stuff? But yeah you’re 100% right the oasis stuff did get the crowd up for it. Happy with his choices as well, great to hear little by little and the importance of being idle again.
