Gray had several runs of 4 or 5 games where he looked really good though. But they'd be followed by months and months of dross.

Way too early to say Gray has turned a corner on 3 games. See how he's doing in February first.

I would said ‘Toss’, but ‘dross’ is also fine.

Also Mark De Vries was exceptional in his first couple of games… and he soon reverted to the mean of being toss.

I presumed when you said team you meant Torino.

No mate. Scored for the Belgium national team during the world cup qualifying...

The Brendan Rogers reject plays and scores for the one of the highest ranking Natonal football team in the world.

Get your bloody head out of the sand and follow the football around the Europe and the World.

Praet scoring one goal against a team ranked lower than Cape Verde Islands, Curaçao, Gabon and Benin is hardly proof that Brendan has made a mistake just yet. Martinez won't pick him against anyone decent so we'll have to see how he does for Torino.

Not sure if anybody watched Club Brugge last night but Sowah looked incredible. At times he made PSG look like a league 1 side.

Of course it's only one game but think we messed up there.

Have we got a buy back clause? Didn't we learn anything from N'golo Kante?

I watched a lot of the game - clearly I missed the bit in bold

he was very mobile and in general, did pretty well.  Not sure ‘incredible’ reflected what I saw.

I think we do.  But unless we were clear as to why we were allowing him to go and he was on board with it, I doubt he’d want to come back.

To make matters worse… look what position he was playing:cry:

Yes, he seemed very happy to return to Belgium. Other clubs get around this, don't they? Buy back and quickly sell on.

Thought this thread was worth a bump due to the amount of revisionism going on. With some people blaming the management/club for him going.

You won't find a single Leicester fan in this thread saying we should try and keep him. You will find plenty like some of those quoted saying the opposite.

To the lads I've quoted I'm not trying to make you look silly or even imply that you have been proved wrong after just 4 games.you were well within your rights to be dissapointed after 5 years of unfulfilled potential.

It's more a dig at you more the ones moaning about selling him now. how can the club and management can get blamed for a decision that literally not a single supporter was against at the time?

I'm confused 😕

Im pretty sure you should've quoted another few thousand posts as well to be honest 🤔🤫

So crazy - I'm watching my team play and realized Fuchs is on the other side!  Had no idea but apparently the MLS team he signed for loaned him to a USL (2nd division) team for the season and we're playing against them tonight.  Pittsburgh Riverhounds vs Charlotte Independence

Yeah I think it is because his parent club (Charlotte FC) won't be playing until 2022, so Fuchs and a couple of other players got sent to Independence so they could play competitive football weekly

Posh under 23s make addition to squad with arrival of former Leicester City winger.

The Peterborough United under 23s have bolstered their attacking options with the arrival of Johnson Adu Gyamfi following a successful trial with the winger playing in a starring role against Bristol City on Tuesday afternoon, bagging a brace.

Gyamfi, who has featured in a number of under 23s fixtures to date, joins Matthew Etherington’s squad after leaving Premier League side Leicester City in the summer. The 19-year-old is excited about the opportunity he has at the Weston Homes Stadium and is determined to impress.

“When my agent spoke to me about coming to the club on trial I was absolutely delighted. I spoke to some of the players and that reaffirmed what I already thought that this was the perfect place for me to be. It was a no brainer. The coaches here are very good and the fact that the club is in the Championship made it a very attractive option.

“The fact that the under 23s are in a league means it will be competitive and there will be regular football and it is something that I am really enjoying. The games come thick and fast, and I just want to go out there and enjoy it and help the team,” Gyamfi said.

The teenager has settled in quickly at the club and is looking forward to developing as a player under the guidance of Etherington, who, in his playing career, played in the same position, on the left-side of the midfield.

“I am a winger and I prefer to play from the left. I like to cut inside and shoot. I have a good range of passing, pretty quick and I like to get forward and create. I am learning all of the time and the fact that the manager played in my position means I have the perfect person to listen to and he and the other coaches will help my game.

“I am actually Ghanian-Italian, I was raised in Italy for 10 years, joined Leicester City at the under 11 age group and left following my first year at Leicester. I had a couple of injuries which hampered my progress so I am delighted I am here now and I can get games under my belt and show what I can do,” Gyamfi said.

Not sure if it has been mentioned (I haven't seen it) but Cengiz Ünder scored again last night

Alas, a swallow doesn't make a summer.

So our ex right wingers have scored six goals so far this season. Weee.
