Always seemed to me to be a bit of a twat when I paid attention to the F1. Having a kid at that age is absurd.

Is it just me that's convinced she's been knocked up by the pool boy? I mean, how virile is he going to be at his age?

Just because it's not seen as global commons, doesn't mean it cannot be explored in an international union. As stated in the declaration.

The US can have their opinion, and other nations a different one. Nothing to get ones knickers in a twist.

By the time space exploration on this level is practical and feasible enough, Trump will be long gone.

And Europe, Russia or China will have to make great strides to get anywhere near the technological level the US are at right now.

If you want to blame the US president responsible, look back at the treaty of 1979. That was Jimmy Carter territory.

You get triggered way too easily by Orange Man.

...yeah, of course it could be. But if that is still the sentiment by the time such things actually get moving, it won't be.

As anyone who vaguely knows me knows well I view space and space exploration as highly valuable and even just the idea of us venturing out into the stars for just another extension of petty nationalism rather than for the sake of all humanity irks me.

And I'm not sure if this is clear yet, but I don't care if it's Dem or Repub presidents making bad decisions - I know we're all missing football but this isn't 90 minutes down at the KP.

Yeah this shouldn't even be up for debate, of course outer space doesn't belong to anyone. I fail to see how that opinion can be in any way contentious.  The ISS and wacky conspiracy theories aside, there's no human being who calls the moon or any other part of space home, it belongs to nobody, nobody has a claim on it.

So of course some people want to make it the stage for the next round of dick-swinging imperialist expansion.  Shock horror.

Hmmm! Given the announcement of the impending birth and no announcement of an impending divorce case, Eccleston is presumably declaring the prospective sprog to be his.....

Are you suggesting that he's so senile that he can't remember that he couldn't get it up? That he knows it isn't his kid but is happy to cover for his straying missus and the pool boy and say it's his?

I research family history and official records show that one of my great-great-grandfathers fathered 9 children between the ages of 70 and 81....and he was living in poverty in 19th century rural Ireland, not leading the life of a billionaire playboy in the 21st century. Admittedly, records sometimes overstated ages slightly. But even if he achieved all this procreation between 65 and 76, I'm proud of the lad (my ancestor, not Eccleston)! :D

p.s. Have you tried Viagra if your powers are waning with age? ;)

"Julian Assange secretly fathered two children while living inside the Ecuadorean embassy in London, his partner has revealed.

Stella Morris says she has been in a relationship with the Wikileaks founder since 2015 and has been raising their two young sons on her own".

From Wikileaks to condom leaks....

And just when it couldn’t get any worse, there’s a fvckin great forest fire in Ukraine threatening to set fire to the Chernobyl nuclear power station, or what’s left of it.

Though they'd put that out already, read about that over the weekend.
