Popular Post kristianity77 Posted 22 April 2023 Popular Post Posted 22 April 2023 Cags looked dodgy for quite a while before Rodgers dropped him to never play again. However I'm more and more inclined to think Soyuncu, as well as a few more players we have on our books were just stifled so much by Rodgers tactics of playing how he wanted them to play and not in a way that suited our personnel. 6

Popular Post kiwiturk Posted 22 April 2023 Popular Post Posted 22 April 2023 (edited) There are reports on Turkish media saying that Cags gave a fresh instruction to his agent for him to explore his options to stay with the LCFC. I think that he really enjoy working with the new coach and feel appreciated again. Edited 22 April 2023 by kiwiturk 9 2
mohammedsaqib Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 He’ll be part of our most complete back 5 ever. Imagine if they had stayed together and fit? Kasper Riccy P Evans Cags Chilwell

Some people on here simply dont have the capability to rate football players correctly and if you think Soyuncu is a bad centre back or a bomb scare or whatever then you're one of them. He's our best option and im glad he is back, but had been quite poor for a while before he was dropped. That season he was amazing, but so was Nididi

From what I gathered in January, there's an agreement in place with AM for him to sign as a free agent in summer - but nothing stopping him from staying if he decides to sign an extension here. 1

A new manager in general means he can play again. He’s only likely to be a rotation option for athletico and we probably would pay a similar wage. If we stay up, i can see why it would at least be considered 1
Popular Post themightyfin Posted 22 April 2023 Popular Post Posted 22 April 2023 Whatever problems that have gone on behind the scenes this season we will never know the full story but regardless, to come in and put in a performance like that having hardly played all season was simply outstanding. If we do somehow manage to stay up ,and there is a glimmer of hope we can keep him here then we need to go all out to secure him and build the defence around him next season. How realistic that is I'm not sure much depends oh the league we are in next season and his mindset after what has happened over the last 12 months and decisions may have already been made but today shows how much we have missed him. He gave everything for the shirt and the cause today. 13

StriderHiryu Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 Incredible display! He's leaving at the end of the season, but he fought so hard for the shirt! That was Great Escape / Title Winning nerves of steel right there. Thank you Cags! That was one for the fans, and we appreciate it! 3
Mike1983 Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 What a player! What on earth was Rodgers thinking!??! 1
Popular Post jonny_wright Posted 22 April 2023 Popular Post Posted 22 April 2023 His outcasting is pretty much the reason we are in the relegation battle. For rodgers to put himself before the club was unforgivable 6 2
Larry_LCFC Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 I sincerely hope its true that Soy and a family member of BR got it on. That makes me very happy.
Mickyblueeyes Posted 22 April 2023 Posted 22 April 2023 Rodgers is a **** for bad mouthing and simply trying to destroy Cags. Shame we’ve only 6 games left of him. I doubted you Cags but so glad to be proven wrong. 2
