So Rodgers has nullified two decent players just to shoehorn them into the team and formation. Long high corners or throws into the box are also pointless. We should be 3 down. If Puel had done this he would be getting pelters.

Why would you have to play one of your best players in Maddison out wide and out of position if you had the requisite quality out wide?

We look incredibly rigid. Absolutely no spontaneity in our play. Need to link the defence, midfield and attack better. Youri needs to get it together as not up to the speed of the game at all

if you had strong nature wide players the decision would become a lot easier and one of the midfielders would drop out.

I thought Albrighton would be a starter after the pre-season games but we’ve instead played both Ndidi and Choudhury... we look unbalanced, think we need Albrighton and Barnes on for width, push Tielemans forward, and take off one of Choudhury/Ndidi and one of Perez/Vardy.
