Foxxed Posted 24 August 2019 Posted 24 August 2019 Puel on seeing Bren playing Maddison out wide and a defensive setup. Looking forward to seeing Praet and how Hamza copes in Ndidi's role.

UPinCarolina Posted 24 August 2019 Posted 24 August 2019 Ndidi’s injury makes the rumored sale of Mendy seemingly a non-starter. If Hamza were to pick up even a slight knock we’d be quite limited in our tactical choices.

I mean, we may very well win but this system has been so ****ing garbage to watch so far. The sooner Rodgers gets it out of his system the better. Think he's a great coach, I'm glad he's here, I'm not knee jerking and calling for his head. But ugh. Just ugh. Maybe we just need more game time with the system?
Beechey Posted 24 August 2019 Posted 24 August 2019 How exactly are people seeing this as a defensive system? 4
smr Posted 24 August 2019 Posted 24 August 2019 (edited) as usual FT has gone into meltdown even before kick off when we're winning by a healthy margin it'll be all "OMG GENIUS TACTICAL SYSTEM!" Edited 24 August 2019 by smr 3

lgfualol Posted 24 August 2019 Posted 24 August 2019 No Barnes. No win. Looking forward to seeing more of Praet. 1

Guest SO1 Posted 24 August 2019 Posted 24 August 2019 If it doesn't or can't be defined by a number than does it exist? Can it be quantified? Even discussed? Can it work?

The width comes from the full backs, as it did in the second half against Chelsea. Choudhury drops in deep, in front of the CBs and Fuchs and Ricardo bomb on. (Obvs works better with Chilly but Fuchs gets it too)

Farrington fox Posted 24 August 2019 Posted 24 August 2019 Still surprised and frustrated at Maddison out wide, again!
Hollyfox Posted 24 August 2019 Posted 24 August 2019 (edited) Anyone know of any streams that I can avoid for this? Cheers👍 Edited 24 August 2019 by Hollyfox
