TheSomersetFox Posted 28 August 2019 Posted 28 August 2019 Tough draw. Will need to be bang up for it. Very winnable tho and could've had plenty worse
lgfualol Posted 28 August 2019 Posted 28 August 2019 Better than a boring prem team. Dont care as long as we win.
StanSP Posted 28 August 2019 Posted 28 August 2019 May be sitting in the posh seats for this. Which is the equivalent to probably sitting on the bogs at home. Ah well. Would be nice to go in the away end but very unlikely!
MPH Posted 28 August 2019 Posted 28 August 2019 job done and we progressed. stayed focused second half. cups are about progressing and that’s what we did. Edit: posted in the wrong thread, sorry!

Genesis1 Posted 28 August 2019 Posted 28 August 2019 Who was that woman who said Crawley or West Ham??? Something a little strange there! 😂😂
BoyJones Posted 28 August 2019 Posted 28 August 2019 Ground holds about 10k. Think the allowance is 10% for the league cup (15%?for FA Cup) so around 1000 tickets. Depends also on Safety Group / Police input, but as there is no real history between the clubs don't think this will come into play. Don't think I've been for 45 years to this ground - will settle for same result.

harpendenfox Posted 28 August 2019 Posted 28 August 2019 The end behind the goal holds 1800 but can be divided in half, thus not sure if we get 900 or 1800. Pretty sure they will want as many as possible for home fans as they will be bang up for this

Chiltern Fox Posted 28 August 2019 Posted 28 August 2019 I can recommend papa j's indian tapas restaurant right in town. Best chilli paneer I've ever had.
LestaAl Posted 28 August 2019 Posted 28 August 2019 Hopefully Rodgers has got an idea of our best team by then and we can go out and win in 90mins. ...then onto a home fixture in the next round.
Gerard Posted 28 August 2019 Posted 28 August 2019 Good memories for me for my one trip to Kenilworth Road. I remember going out on the Friday and meeting a girl in a club who was staying with her cousin in Leicester. She lived in Bedford so we drove back to her place in Bedford because no one was there and had a one night stand. In the morning I remembered Leicester were away at Luton so I drove to the match and I think we won 2-1. I've had worse weekends. Edit, it was 2-0. https://www.11v11.com/matches/luton-town-v-leicester-city-30-october-1993-175570/

Nick Posted 28 August 2019 Posted 28 August 2019 Never been to Kenilworth Rd. Will it be a massive allocation? Will I get a ticket in general sale or is that just a ridiculous question?
Chairman of the Bored Posted 28 August 2019 Posted 28 August 2019 Memories of 1974 FA Cup 4-0 win and Weller’s wonder goal.
