Trelleh Posted 30 August 2019 Posted 30 August 2019 Has the potential to become the best our academy’s produced, him, Chilly and Harvey pushing for that title.
StriderHiryu Posted 30 August 2019 Posted 30 August 2019 He's one of our own! Rodgers clearly rates him as he's been involved in every game so far this season. Lots to work on such as his often times very rash challenges, but a superb performance against Sheffield United showed what he's all about. Already this season he has improved since last time round if you ask me. I think it's inevitable he will become the first Asian (sub-continent) player to play for the senior England team.
davieG Posted 30 August 2019 Posted 30 August 2019 Hope it's got a public liability clause in it. Well done Hamza it's no easy task to achieve what you have done so far.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 30 August 2019 Posted 30 August 2019 Yesssss here we go. My prediction of 350 appearances for LCFC is gaining traction.

spacemunky Posted 30 August 2019 Posted 30 August 2019 Great young player, who's only going to get better.
SemperEadem Posted 30 August 2019 Posted 30 August 2019 He has proved me wrong big time. Saw him struggle at Burton and didn’t think he would make it with us.
TheSomersetFox Posted 30 August 2019 Posted 30 August 2019 Future captain? Can see him being here for the next 10 years + Honestly never thought he'd be as good as he is either. Delighted for him
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 30 August 2019 Posted 30 August 2019 Great news, going to be a great player for us, wait till he truly finds his feet at this level!

Wouldn't he be the first British-Asian full stop to play for the seniors? There probably is one that I've completely missed but I can't think of one off the top of my head.

UPinCarolina Posted 30 August 2019 Posted 30 August 2019 Ensures he’ll be a fixture in the side for years to come. Chuffed for him and for the club. Our midfield has come a long way from 2016-2017.
Tielemans63 Posted 30 August 2019 Posted 30 August 2019 Just when I thought I couldn't love Hamza any more he signs a new contract and nobbles Matt Ritchie in the same week. What a man.

Neil Taylor plays for Wales, and Michael Chopra played for U21s like Hamza, but so far no one has played for the full senior team. I'm not sure Hamza will become a first team England player but given the whole Kick it Out campaign and that Hamza is actually pretty good, I can see him getting a cap in a friendly this season if he keeps developing the way he is. I'd even argue he would have a chance to become a full team regular but it depends on what sort of player he becomes. Jordan Henderson has proved you don't need to be the most creative midfielder in the world to be important to a team.

It much changed then... what’s that one leg shattered in the summer and Ritchie now our for months. Lad has to be very careful.
