Actually thinking about I'll give southgate a break. Apart from a select group of undroppables he has been known to mix it up a bit in these qualifiers. He'll start Kane, Maguire, Sterling, Pickford and usually Henderson, but outside that he doesn't seem afraid to mix it up. So i imagine he's doing that. Using the squad, keeping players on their toes. I would think Chilwell will start on Tuesday. Maddison is a newbie anyway so I didnt expect him to start.
