But TAA has been solid and creative for Liverpool, something we're going to need. Barkley should be on the bench not Maddison and Mount.

Not even a regular starter at Chelsea.
UniFox21 Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 Just now, don_danbury said: hope we lose tbh. What? Bet you're one of those wanting us to lose so Puel would be sacked.
st albans fox Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 You could make a good argument that the bench would beat those on the pitch with Kane up top

Sounds like Southgate switching back to the FA default of maximising the number of shit Spurs players in the lineup. He's probably pondered whether he'd get away with a quick emergency call up of Eric Dier and Oliver Handball Skipp. Still, massive club, won the league twice over 50 years ago don't you know. The mark of the spud on your CV is enough to turn Ex Newcastle United and Forest permacrock Jermaine Jenas into the BBC's go to pundit for all things football, due to his knowledge of winning **** all and barely playing, or transform Jake Livermore into a first choice England midfielder, or transform Garth Crooks into an interviewer and BBC column writer, despite being an absolute weirdo and also lacking the ability to form a coherent sentence. So not the biggest spurs fan then 😂😂
Lambert09 Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 Not going to complain, keep them fit for us and out of the eyes of the ratty top six wanting to sign all of our players

Especially if you added in Vardy and Hamza. With TAA, Madders, Sancho, Chilly and Mount. I'd bet on team "B" any day of the week.
ParkerPen Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 well that's made my mind up - I shan't risk the wrath of the kids turfing them off the telly to watch that lineup !

Frustrating that we were pretty poor but you could sense there was aggression in those games and most looked forward to it, you’d think as the competition goes on the more seriously it will be taken too. To be honest we over-achieved in that, that win in Spain was an excellent result. Just a shame about the finals themselves, that Holland game was pathetic. But these Euro qualifiers - it's a year long procession. Nobody can pretend to be excited by it and that's not really anybody's fault - you've got to be one of the 24 best teams in Europe, there's no way of making that interesting other than the common sense solution of putting it back to 16 teams, but that won't happen.
BraunstoneFox23 Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 Not the strongest line up, but I’m guessing Southgate will mix it up big time against Kosovo. The current system indicates mediocrity but we should be used it by now. 0-0 half time, Mount on for Rashford at 75’ and a 1-0 win, probably from a Kane penalty.
kingfox Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 What a boring negative line up. A midfield three of Rice, Henderson and Barkley against Bulgaria
foxfanazer Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 Only thing I'm hoping for from this is a few United players to get injured

SouthStandUpperTier Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 And here was me thinking we'd have a week off from the traditional FT pre-match grumbling.

sdb Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 Properly laughing at that selection after people started saying international football isn't so boring atm
Trav Le Bleu Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 Maguire on ITV, "I'm on a ladder and I've never taken any downward steps." Let's see at the end of the season Hazza.
Suzie the Fox Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 I will make my judgement after the game, since i've not seen any of them in the training sessions. Dont get me wrong i'm disappointed Chilwell & Madderz are not in the starting 11, however if they are not on the pitch they wont get injured
FoxesDeb Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 Gareth Southgate is a fvcking cheeky cvnt, trying to imply that Manchester United expect more of him than we did. Every team expects the best of a player, the price they paid shouldn't matter.
