Arsenal have took their two chances meaning they can just put 9 men behind the ball and keep Aubameyang on the shoulder of the last defender. Wouldn't say it's been any sort of tactical masterclass. If Man City had taken one of their early chances the game would have been completely different.

If Man City had taken one of their early chances the game would have been completely different. If, though. The fact is that Arsenal's defence, albeit after a shaky start, have restricted Man City of clear cut chances. It's a defensive masterclass Burnley would be proud of. If Arsenal were more open and attacking, they'd have been carved open.
Leicesterpool Posted 18 July 2020 Posted 18 July 2020 It's annoying how despite how poor Arsenal are this season they still have a great chance of winning a cup! oh when is it going to be the Foxes turn to win the FA Cup!
RowlattsFox Posted 18 July 2020 Posted 18 July 2020 Talking about Mustafi like he's actually injured, don't think there is much wrong with him.

But Arsenal would have been more open had Man City taken one of their early chances. As soon as Arsenal went 1-0 up they went right into their shell with Aubameyang on the last man. Doesn't help Man City that De Bruyne has had an absolute shocker.
The Bear Posted 18 July 2020 Posted 18 July 2020 Pep looks like he's just taking a break from painting his bathroom door.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 18 July 2020 Posted 18 July 2020 Man City spent the majority of this game cobbing crosses into David Silva, it's been like watching us
kingfox Posted 18 July 2020 Posted 18 July 2020 A Mikel Arteta masterclass. After their defeat to Brighton, you can tell Arteta has given them a kick up the arse.
Jonezy Posted 18 July 2020 Posted 18 July 2020 Defensive masterclass 2nd half from Arsenal. Kudos to them.

goody2028 Posted 18 July 2020 Posted 18 July 2020 Serves them right for cheating their way out of the ban
AKCJ Posted 18 July 2020 Posted 18 July 2020 Pleased for David Luiz. He does some seriously daft shite when Arsenal play a high block. He's done that at PSG and Chelsea too. But I felt for him when Man City rinsed him last month and respected him for standing up the media after. Good for him that he's come back from that and put in that sort of performance.
StriderHiryu Posted 18 July 2020 Posted 18 July 2020 Fair play to Arsenal, they made Man City look distinctly average. Arteta reaches his first final already - quite impressive even if he's a terrible excuse maker like against us!

Losing to a shite Lampard managed Chelsea side doesn’t make it any easier

Stuntman_Mike Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 With Man City going out you can't help but feel this was a missed chance for us again in the cup. There's a guarantee of a first major trophy then for the remaining teams managers.
Brainy Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 Will whoever is sniping these Utd players not ease up in the second half

Brainy Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 Well all De Gea needs to do is make one decent save and he'll be the best GK in the world again
Swarles Barkley Posted 19 July 2020 Posted 19 July 2020 That's right de gea. Get your mistakes out the way now before your masterclass next week
