Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 29 September 2019 Posted 29 September 2019 I thought it was literally a leg-breaker at first, it was horrific. Praet rotates away at the very last second which is what stopped it from being much worse as his leg bent naturally at the knee under the force of the challenge. Grim.
ScouseFox Posted 29 September 2019 Posted 29 September 2019 it took 43 minutes for the ref to get his first right decision of the day. absolutely diabolical performance from him. genuinely think he got every single call wrong until then, from throw ins to fouls to corners to cards. horror show. the game is pretty boring. we’re a lot better than them and if we manage to not win i’ll be furious.
Chester Dontlie Posted 29 September 2019 Posted 29 September 2019 Looks like Praet is all right, hope he will be able to continue after the break

Excessive force. Nailed on red.
katieakita Posted 29 September 2019 Posted 29 September 2019 Will be interesting to hear Bruce's comments about the red absolute shocking challenge, they are doggo and specialising in shithousing a result. Need to keep the tempo up and finish them off . Hope Praet can continue playing well and the team is linking up well
AjcW Posted 29 September 2019 Posted 29 September 2019 You just know Bruce will reference Hamza post match and probably Youri from a few weeks back!
Guest BlueBrett Posted 29 September 2019 Posted 29 September 2019 the head on ones are always much worse than coming in from any other angle
StriderHiryu Posted 29 September 2019 Posted 29 September 2019 Brendan Rodgers is an exceptional coach and manager. The best coaches can improve individuals and the team as a result. There are so many examples I could give but here are just a few: - Soyuncu no longer rash, times his challenges and defends as a pair properly with Evans. - Chilwell and Barnes link up effectively now. They never did this under Puel. - Ndidi's distribution has improved massively. Don't think he gave the ball away in that half, whereas before he panicked under pressure and could be pressed to get the ball back. - Vardy's runs and chasing down make acres of space for the attacking midfielders to run into. Look at Ricardo's goal, and the space Vardy occupies vacate the space for him. - The team presses as a unit winning the ball back time and time again. - One-two's and overlapping runs are so much more effective all over the pitch. The title win was something else, but honestly this team is the best ball playing Leicester team I have seen in my lifetime. Impressed!

As soon as I saw it in real time I said ‘he’s off!’. Red card every day of the week and fair play to the ref getting it done immediately and not relying on VAR.
Vacamion Posted 29 September 2019 Posted 29 September 2019 The two I'd like to see a tad more from are Barnes and Perez, but largely everyone has been very good in terrible conditions.
Guest Posted 29 September 2019 Posted 29 September 2019 We are a higher class in this match. Now we've just got to push it home for the win. hope we get an early second (and third) so I can relax and enjoy the rest.
Lambert09 Posted 29 September 2019 Posted 29 September 2019 Can’t be the only one terrified about Newcastle shithousing this with an Andy Carroll header. desperate for that second goal
urban.spaceman Posted 29 September 2019 Author Posted 29 September 2019 Thought it was more clumsy than malicious at first but that’s 2 footed studs up and on both shins. Stonewall red.
That_Dude Posted 29 September 2019 Posted 29 September 2019 Jog on Sourness, you would walk off in the first 15 minutes nowadays.
Legend_in_blue Posted 29 September 2019 Posted 29 September 2019 How Praet is still running around I'll never know. Looked as though his leg and/or ankle were done. Shocking challenge when you watch it back it gets worse with every view.

Fox85 Posted 29 September 2019 Posted 29 September 2019 I honestly thought that was the end for Dennis Preat for the season, looks so bad in slow motion. Absolute leg breaker right there.
