Corky Posted 25 October 2019 Posted 25 October 2019 No chance of the title. Top four is a real possibility but still a long way to go. Arsenal is a key game in two weeks.

Guest bss9401 Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Win a cup and finish in the top 5. I know that it is lower than most are hoping for but a major trophy and going straight into European competition group stages would have me in heaven again. It would also elevate the current squad into legends and next year who knows what we could achieve.
HybridFox Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Champions League is in sights there's no doubt about it. Long way to go but very promising
Happy Fox Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 I think we are capable of challenging for the title this season I wouldn’t write us off yet tbh. Champions League football should be the aim. Other than Chelsea, the rest of the Top 6 don’t concern me.

Nalis Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 No way we will be top 2, Liverpool and Man City by far the two best teams in the league. In the driving seat for 3rd at the minute tho.
urban.spaceman Posted 26 October 2019 Author Posted 26 October 2019 Obviously I was joking, and I wouldn’t want us to become Spurs fans. But we don’t have any European football... We don’t have to go to Qatar for a week in December... They players have the hunger... And our manager might just be motivated to pip his old team to it... Fvck it, 40 points...
Guest SO1 Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 There's always a chance. A game at a time. Saddle up!
Aus Fox Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Everyone is calling it a 2 horse race this season. If our name was Manchester United or Arsenal, with the same players and results they’d all be saying it was a three horse race. You know what, we are right in this title race, and they’ve still got to play 29 games and get something. And id love it if we beat them! Love it!
Vardinio'sCat Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Thing is, I've always thought we would improve throughout the season given the ages of our players, and we have started with top 4 form. I think we earned the right to dream last night. Unbelievable effort from the players. My love knows no bounds.
shailen Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 This team is ruthless. The efficiency in front of goal, the way we control possession and break on teams is a real joy to watch. No team has looked anywhere near as good as us this season. Liverpool will hit bad form and so will man city. The question remains as to whether either team will drop more points than us, but we have really sent out a signal of intent this season. I think although it will be difficult and with Liverpool extra motivated to win the league after last season, but this team are definitely capable of doing the impossible.
wokinghamfox Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Leicester fan that came onto to Talksport last night. Great comments, spoke brilliantly, explained why we have a real chance of winning the prem once again this season Did anybody record this?. Would love to hear it again.
Guest Markyblue Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Spoke to a Liverpool fan in the pub last night, and he sees us as rivals along with man city. His words were you have both won it recently we haven't so I'm worried.
Arkie Bennett Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Our 15/16 season was not just about the title win, there were little sub-plots along the way, especially Vardy's record-breaking goal run, but also the defeat at Arsenal, Vardy's sending- off against West Ham and subsequent suspension. Last night's immense performance has a similar feeling, that it's part of a bigger story that's unfolding before our eyes. Maybe, just maybe, we can do it again.
turkish14 Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 ..........until we get our seasonal spanking at Selhurst, then it will be “we are shit” blah blah blah not a pessimist, but realist 😀
Strokes Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 I’m starting to get that feeling I did the year we won the title, the feeling we have teams beat before a ball is kicked. I think some teams will be set up from the start with a damage limitations mentality, as they won’t want to be another humiliation. Im still stunned this morning.
when_you're_smiling Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 To win the league this year we’d need at least 15-20 more points than we got in 15-16 when we only lost three games all season and - we’ve already lost two this year. Liverpool finished second with 97 points last year remember. Next two games will tell us a lot but let’s just enjoy the ride. I’d still be delighted with seventh, hell even top 10 and a cup.

jim5000 Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Possibly Vardy's last major season next year, it would be amazing if he had another Eruopean tour to finish off his career!
jim5000 Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 The losses against Its and Liverpool really hurt. Utd because we didn't take the game to them, and Liverpool because of that fact last minute penalty. Could easily have had 4 points more and unbeaten after 10 matches.
Mike Oxlong Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 20 points from games that have included Liverpool, Man Utd and Chelsea away and Tottenham at home. Not bad
Reg Vardy Posted 26 October 2019 Posted 26 October 2019 Last year 71 points for fourth, we need 51 from 28 games based on that,17 wins 11 defeats....whatever way you cut it, considering who we have already played, Liverpool, United & Chelsea away at that, we have a very realistic chance of Champions League next year....
