That_Dude Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Brillant away win. Able to score from set-pieces as well as from open play, Maddison, Evans and Soyüncü have immense today. Top 4 might be more than a distant dream now and hats off to Rodgers.
ozleicester Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Youri and Vardy being interviewed together... twins?
Silva Fox Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Sky are going to love this - genuine 4 horse race for the title!

Tielemans was pinging balls around like a prime Paul Scholes. Nice cameo from Gray. And another goal for Vardy. Roll on next week. Glad you made that comparison. I thought exactly the same but Scholes gets a bum deal on FT for some reason.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 So with Cags scoring, I'm guessing we may drag up Maguire in this thread. Let's not bring him in every time we talk about Cags and let's move on (and yes, I see the irony in my post, but you get my drift). Just be sound in the knowledge Manure feel like they've been ripped off and let's appreciate Cags for who he is.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Best CB pairing in the league, great FBs, 2 of the most creative midfielders and the number one ball winner in the country plus JAMIE VARDY up front. Can't be bad
Strokes Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 A chance to close the gap on Liverpool and/or Man City next weekend. Just the small matter of beating a poor Arsenal side.
Shane Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Game management won it for us. Well done Brendan. Yeah the back 3 against Burnley didn’t work, but today it allowed us to kill all of palace’s momentum & regain control of the game. The fullbacks helped stretched the play and take advantage of a tiring opposition. Probably would have subbed on Praet earlier though. Vardy is the best striker in the league right now. Only needs one or two chances like today and its a goal. Well done to Gray with the assist. Credit to palace. Probably one of the toughest fixtures this season & we managed to get a result. Our defence looks the real deal, can’t argue with a clean sheet against a very dangerous attack.
Hammo Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Easily the better team. Caglar and Maddison immense. Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea will get bogged down by Champions League. Keep this up and we could become a genuine title contender 😊
urban.spaceman Posted 3 November 2019 Author Posted 3 November 2019 So thrilled for Demarai and his assist - two in the last 5 days. He was a beast on Tuesday - he created the first two goals with a couple of brilliant passes to the eventual assisters. He also had an assist quite unfairly attributed to Barnes against Burnley when that was all his IMO. Quietly improving his output and having a great season so far.
RoboFox Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Something special is happening. Dilly ding, dilly dong.
David Hankey Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Given our previous record at Selhurst Park this result shows just how far we have come. Far from being Brendan's last match in charge this is just the springboard we need to break the Gooners. I bet they are quaking in their boots.
sishades Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 I thought bring Wes on was a risk but it totally killed Palace as an attacking force. Demi was good and that second goal was world class.

foxes_rule1978 Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Great to beat palace away like that, played brilliantly especially in the second half. Excellent play for that second goal
Benji Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Biggest shock was how dangerous we looked from corners! Crazy times. Great performance all round.
Jimothy Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 Starting to see some better decision making from Gray. There actually might be a player in there after all.
fazzyfox Posted 3 November 2019 Posted 3 November 2019 That second goal and its quality only happens when you're as confident as we are right now, we looked like Barcelona there
