BBC Breakfast this morning state that today Man City will be attempting to chip away at Liverpool's 11pts lead at the top of the Premier League. 

 

... and on it goes.

Seeing as Liverpool have a 11 point lead over them and they're not talking about our game.. 

 

If they didn't talk about the gap during our coverage fair enough, but you can't expect us to be mentioned all the time.

Man City can only reduce the gap they have over Liverpool and as the current champions it’s not unusual that they associate them with the top position.

I have no idea why some of our fans are so needy for a mention.

I saw this. It's like there's no team in between.

 

They also said "City".

 

But City are only 8 pts behind them.

No, but not once have I heard any pundit talk about Man City having to catch us first. If it were Man U or Chelsea in second, they would.

The best reply we can give is keep on what we are doing. We all know the media in general and some so-called expert pundits in particular have very little time for Leicester City. Just remember how it was when we were on our way to winning the title!!

Even the usually reliable Jeff Stelling made some asinine comment during this afternoon's programme, with Liverpool at Bournemouth, winning that they would be 14 points clear of Manchester City. 

And ignored the team currently lying second.
