UHDrive Posted 27 August 2022 Posted 27 August 2022 This signing although I think would be great, would also cost millions more than it should've had we not got ourselves in this predicament. 1

At the back end of the season he was not getting much pitch time when he played 8 - 45 mins in his last 6, not sure what was happening there.
Popular Post indierich06 Posted 27 August 2022 Popular Post Posted 27 August 2022 In a dream scenario, you'd hope that this signing galvanises Soyuncu and helps him get back to the form we know he's capable of. 5

Might have had a clause where if he plays x amount of games/minutes then they owe Juve more money. 1

So seeming he was on loan at Atalanta it would be fine as he hasn’t played for Juventus in that time. It happens a fair bit on the continent that players loans are made permanent because of a low clause then they are immediately sold for profit, sometimes on the same day. Nice - great explanation. 👍🏻
dbtcity Posted 27 August 2022 Posted 27 August 2022 Never been a fan of defenders who regularly go to ground to tackle as they’re more often than not an absolute train wreck! The fact that 99% of his YouTube clips are of him doing so doesn’t fill me with much confidence… that being said I’d still sooner have him than any of our current cbs bar Johnny (excluding Wes)

Yeah they had a buy option which I think was mandatory for certain amount of minutes, looked like they weren’t gonna sign him this summer at one point but they negotiated a cheaper fee instead!

Potentially cheaper, similar profile to Saliba and Fofana, and would allow us make the money go a bit further on other players. However, this might be a good move for Cags…. Having a fellow countryman along side him might help him rediscover his previous form? 3

VLC86 Posted 27 August 2022 Posted 27 August 2022 Demiral has been very good for Atalanta, only recently made the loan permanent. Can’t see us paying the money it would take, probably £40m. 1

Mickyblueeyes Posted 27 August 2022 Posted 27 August 2022 Be interesting to see if we go for one two CBs before the deadline. With one starting (like Demiral) and another covering to hopefully replace Vestegaard.
