Don't know the ins and outs but getting Lennon back screamed of complacency from Celtic, I don't think they anticipated just how much Rangers were going to improve under Gerrard.

 

They brushed off Rangers beating them at Parkhead last season as a nothing moment but it was a clear sign the gap was closing, and this season they've been a different beast while Celtic have trundled about domestically and embarrassed themselves in Europe.

 

Both revolting clubs mind and I wish them nothing but the worst.

Shows how quickly a good team (for the level they are at) can turn into a shit one after a loss of form. Good managers know how to stop the rot, Lennon isn't one.

The bulk of Lennon's managerial trophies have been won with Rangers in financial turmoil or out of the top flight. Even then he didn't dominate everything as Rodgers did.

 

There's no way Lennon would do with us what Rodgers is.

 Think the tolerance level for form losses here is bad? I've never seen Celtic fans in such an absolute meltdown over the manager and the CEO. Well except for when Rodgers(the Rat) left for here. I heard Twitter has reportings of 200 fans outside the park demonstrating. Drama!

The biggest protest I've seen at Leicester was people throwing season tickets when Sheffield Wednesday scored a third goal.

 

It was the last home game of the season.

I’m obviously older than you but I can remember a protest after one match outside the old main stand at filbert street where some hooligan through a brick through the boardroom window. If it had a note attached it would have said “pleat out”.

As said earlier they should have replaced Neil Lennon. He was fine for the stop gap after Rodgers left but even someone at the standard of Big Sam or Mark Hughes on a one year contract would have worked.
