Seem to remember watching from the side stand but I might have been in the home end. Anyone remember or know? The away end was behind the goal remember it well, was a good day out and typical old style ground soon to be gone.

Corky Posted 6 January 2020 Posted 6 January 2020 Having reached three finals in eight years, I bet you didn't think you'd be waiting over 50 for the next one
RowlattsFox Posted 6 January 2020 Posted 6 January 2020 Tough game. They can be a really good side on their day.

I was sitting in the side stand too, can’t remember for sure but think we had the away end too. My abiding memory of the afternoon was seeing planes fly across the ground seemingly every minute as they went in and out of Heathrow.
Guest Electric Yetis Posted 6 January 2020 Posted 6 January 2020 Only seen us play Brentford once, at home back in '92. All the talk was about the 'hot dog kid' who'd made his debut a week previous in another 0-0 draw. Made a couple of decent saves in this match too if I remember right.
twister Posted 6 January 2020 Posted 6 January 2020 very very hard game , harder than some premier league games lads will need to be very switched on.
ry.cunningham.5 Posted 6 January 2020 Posted 6 January 2020 Very slim chance of this making 340+ I'm guessing
Leicesterpool Posted 6 January 2020 Posted 6 January 2020 Weird coincidence is, I actually went by the Brentford ground last week. Be interesting away day to say the least, a traditional old fashioned small ground. Plenty of pubs around, there's a four pubs dotted on each corner around the ground. Short walk from the railway station only like 10 minutes.

Brizzle Fox Posted 6 January 2020 Posted 6 January 2020 This is going to be a very sexy game. They've probably been up there as the most attractive team to watch in the Champs for a few seasons, but have now added a bit more of a cutting edge. Saw them beat Bristol City 4 0 last weekend. I know City were down to 10 after only 10 mins but the way they used that extra space was really impressive. That Benrahma chap is a bag of tricks. Pulled off some mad skills when got into show boating near the end. Should be fun!

I expect similar to Burton levels Hopefully our support is better than it was at Burton where I was given a volley of abuse off a female blue m**g after i was pushed into her during the goal celebrations. If you don't like it then don't go in the terrace. In fact, don't even know why I'm writing this because I've almost given up with the majority of the ***** that follow us away.
TheLittleBigMan Posted 7 January 2020 Posted 7 January 2020 Pleased with this. Winnable but these guy's will bring a good game to us so should keep us on our toes. Good old fashioned ground too

Koke Posted 7 January 2020 Posted 7 January 2020 Not many fixtures between us and them. We have been in the same league only 3 times in the last 65 years. 1992/93 1983/84 1953/54
HibiscusMark Posted 7 January 2020 Posted 7 January 2020 Was initially pleased with the draw but some of you blokes are really talking them up. Worried? A pub on every corner sounds good.
ealingfox Posted 7 January 2020 Posted 7 January 2020 At least 1 of them is home fans only though, The Griffin.

I am excited for this game. New ground for me, thankfully we're there before they knock it down, and it should be a good game because they're a decent side who play some good stuff. It's not the easiest tie we could have hoped for.
