Any player can through a slump, any person in fact. Support not ridicule is what is needed.

If people stop using that phrase to support him I will stop taking the piss. In premiership football it means F.A.

Probably because he cannot tackle. Foul yes, but tackle no.

Unfortunately this seems to be true. As a holding midfielder he isn't an answer.

Soton were 8/1 with both teams scoring .... was so tempted ....

missed an easy pay day there

They're still 3/1. Not bad based on that half

Not the best half. Not seen anything if barnes, Perez spends a lot of time on his arse chilly can’t pass to our players. Giving them to much time and they are a team with a lot of conference at the minute so not going to be an easy second half. Maybe albrighton or Tilly and nacho for Barnes and Perez

See i knew ayoze would get this sort of stick but they are doubling up on him every time and going in hard to win the ball, he hardly had space to breath in that first half

I’d take scoring 1 goal ..... as long as it’s 1 more than them.

None of this 9-0 business. These are a better side than that debacle today.

Which phrase? Support or Ridicule? ;)

Quite simply payed off the park. Should be a couple of goals down but crucially we are on level terms. We will be better second half once Rodgers freshens things up They may pay the price for profligate finishing and some bad luck. Top teams find a way and we are not second in the league for no reason.

I hope you are right. "Hope" though tells a flattering tale.

Don't like scapegoating young guys but Chilwell needs to come off for his own good. JJ played loads of times at left back for Luton, just get him on to get Chilwell out the spotlight. His heads gone.

Whole team has been shit since they scored so I'm not blaming him but he's definitely symptomatic of our whole lack of confidence.

almost can't believe I'm saying this but I'd consider taking Maddison off for Youri if things don't improve fast.

Nacho obviously has to come on in a bit too

As I predicted the team is tired but rodgers barley made any changes after midweek which is a huge surprise compared to what I said he should do.

Gray ,Kelechi and Youri to come on for me.

Very lucky not to be losing.

When a team bullies and roughed us a little we fall apart. We lose all composure. Feel we have been found out. Press us and we are stifled.

I said it during the Christmas period.

We lack controlled aggression and bite. We’re too soft.

Because we haven’t got players showing for the first time pass into space .... when we were playing well we were breaking lines by doing this - now we are either too tired or lacking the confidence to do it
