I used to find Ricky Gervais really funny but since he became famous he's been insufferable. 

 

Doesn't mind crowing 'I'm rich' which is a misguided attempt to seem like a normal chap - think Robbie Williams genuine surprise at his new contract - and it makes him seem an arrogant dickbag.

 

Also the who animals thing. Everyone loves them. I foster a certain breed. But he bangs on about it as though his love for them is some guilded trait of personality and he's some form of Saint. Liking animals is normal. 

 

He's slowly becoming David Brent.

I think we too often forget how young these players are, and try to hold them to a standard that we never held ourselves to at that age. I don't know about you, but I am glad the stupid things I did and said at that age was not front page news. Was never a fan of Bob Mortimer when he was with Vic Reeves. But on “would I lie to you” he comes over really well and is hilarious. I’m also a big fan of his fishing series with Paul Whitehouse.

Do you remember seeing Mozza at Brixton academy?  Vauxhall and I album - was brilliant…. 
 

I wore Doug’s leopard print shirt FFS!

 

His views do appear to be a little effed up though…. The pop equivalent of listening to Wagner!  (I still have sneaky listen though - whilst tutting of course)

I don't know anything about his views and I don't really care.  I tend to get more annoyed by prissy 'woke' censorship and preachiness.  Your 'tutting' just cost you a rep point .  I tut at your tutting.

Gary Linker - Loved him growing up, Leicester & England footballing legend. Helped to save us from the brink of disaster in 2002. Now he’s turned into an arsehole. He thinks he’s a politician, he spouts absolute nonsense at every attempt on Twitter, he’s an hypocritical willy puller. Yet to meet or speak to a person who has anything remotely positive to say about him in person too. It takes a special kind of person to be as universally disliked as he is by football fans given what he achieved, he should be adored by England fans.

 

Anthony Joshua - When he started out, Gold Medalist Olympian, seemed a nice down to earth chap, good boxer, absolute box office. In the last few years, I find his “Stay humble” rhetoric boring and insincere also his comments at the BLM protest were offensive and racist.

I always thought he was pretty level headed and down to earth.

 

I don't tend to really care about celebrities and their views and opinions, because they're entitled to them and it takes all sorts to make a world and all that jazz,  sometimes i think, wow you're goning to get pelters for that but fair play for having the balls to say it.

It reminded me of the artists that toured South Africa and played lucrative gigs in Sun City during the apartheid of the 1980s. 

 

Only thing I disagree with here is your indifference towards "celebrities views and opinions". These can be dangerously ill-informed or even extreme in nature and tend to harm/rub off on the young and impressionable in particular. Fame carries a responsibility.

To be honest i had a sexy poster of her up on my wall back when i was a  horny teen.  Now that I'm almost 41, I'm still a horny teen and I'd still shag her if she was interested lol. Maybe just with a condom now...or not cant be picky unlikely to ever happen.  Nice lady though.

I still can't begin to understand why people find him shrilly laughing at his own mediocre jokes. 

 

Like a lot of British folk on American TV he also does the self righteous moralising figure thing. That's annoying too.
