Ah, the easy way of finishing top 4. Why didn't Brendan think of this?

By us not being a left bollock against Southampton!

Us having to rely on other teams results shows we are not ready for top 4.

Blew it massively against Southampton, if we don't beat Newcastle on Friday that's is ****ed

spot on, if we bottle it friday then neither the squad nor the manager are top 4 material........2 years on the bounce says it all

How are we relying on anyone else? We're 5 points clear of 5th with a much better GD, it's all in our hands and will still be even if we lose to Newcastle.

No!...if we lose to Newcastle it's over.

It obviously wouldn't be, but I wouldn't have us as favourites to finish in the top 4 if we did

It’s not though? Just simple maths

This team doesn’t handle pressure well at all. They’ve been getting better but anything less than 3pts against Newcastle has the potential to derail the rest of the season via a complete collapse in confidence.

West Ham playing a back two is very attacking, especially against a direct Burnley with two up top. lanzini in a defensive midfield pivot with soucek is also an attacking set up .......looks like moyes just thinks they will score more than Burnley so may as well go for it ....

Yeah I agree it has potential to **** us. But taking away my bias it isn’t over for us even if we do lose.

To be fair they score a lot of goals in recent months but concede a lot too, usually trying to forgo 3 goal leads. Fair play to them. Wish we could get players back from injury that don't need a month to show any sign of form.

People were saying that defeat after defeat end of last season though, mathematically it might not be over but form and who we have to face vs the chasing pack is massive
