Admittedly Chelsea and Everton have been among the biggest spenders, so maybe not that accurate, but then again they have gasoline money to use... It's hard to know the impact, gate receipts is easy enough. But how much does it impact sponsorships, programme sales (including adverts and sponsors), food and drink, corporate. There could be anything from £15-£50m (at least) black hole that needs filling. Edited 22 September 2020 by Babylon
RowlattsFox Posted 22 September 2020 Posted 22 September 2020 Has there been a case of any footballer or manager being symptomatic?

Both Arteta and Hudson-Odoi, who were the first to test positive in March before lockdown, had symptoms. Might have been more cases then but I don’t think we were testing asymptomatics at the time.

Completely forgot about that Also because they are being tested so frequently, a lot of them aren’t actually asymptomatic but presymptomatic. i.e. we’re detecting their infections a few days before the symptoms appear, which is the whole point of all this testing. 1
peach0000 Posted 22 September 2020 Posted 22 September 2020 I don't get how the West Ham match is going ahead. Surely there's a risk to players from both sides that isn't worth taking for a game of football.

Fox in the North Posted 22 September 2020 Posted 22 September 2020 Leeds signing Diego Llorente from Real Sociedad, decent signing depending on the price!

HybridFox Posted 22 September 2020 Posted 22 September 2020 Still can't believe United signed Odion Ighalo

Leicester_Loyal Posted 23 September 2020 Posted 23 September 2020 Have the October tv schedules not been sorted yet? They were meant to be released 2 weeks ago, but I've seen nothing about it yet.
twister Posted 23 September 2020 Posted 23 September 2020 I am going to say this now wolves take the piss out of the home grown rules legally of course. either they get rid of it, or they adjust it. Because it isn't working as it was intended now.
Jobyfox Posted 23 September 2020 Posted 23 September 2020 Wolves have signed Semedo for £37m. Covid seems to be affecting the spending of some clubs more than others

ealingfox Posted 23 September 2020 Posted 23 September 2020 Must be great supporting a club with ambition. Leeds getting Diego Llorente as well. 2

Diego Llorente doesn’t get into our side. It’s all good and well looking at clubs and thinking he’d be a great signing but realistically, we can’t go in for some players because our starting 11 is very settled in most parts. Llorente doesn’t sign for us to sit on the bench. Buying good quality squad players given we are competing with some of the biggest clubs in Europe for quality footballers is hard enough.
iniesta Posted 23 September 2020 Posted 23 September 2020 37m for Semedo makes 80m for maguire seem reasonable.. guy is shocking 4

StanSP Posted 23 September 2020 Posted 23 September 2020 Unreal signing for Wolves. How they've got him that cheap from Barca is crazy. Will be one of the signings of the season and no wonder they were quick to get rid of Doherty. 1
honeybradger Posted 23 September 2020 Posted 23 September 2020 Massive upgrade on doherty tbh. Premier league is turning into an arms race at the moment it's crazy. 1
