Get harder games out the way first whilst we've still got important players missing

I'd like us to build some momentum for the Europa League games, which I believe are due to start in October.

 

Having said that, if we do that against 'lesser' teams, it's more likely we'll face the 'bigger' teams in the middle of the EL run. So maybe we get teams like Arsenal, Spurs, Man City, Liverpool etc out of the way.

 

A strong start to the season whoever we play will hopefully get some pressure off Rodgers and the players.

The only player that would thrive off it is Vardy but he can't always do it himself!

Just been having a look for this - not found anything, but then the final league place is to be decided AND the situation around clubs still in Europe for this season is still up in the air (they may start the season later).
