Toronto FC star Alejandro Pozuelo was named the 2020 MLS MVP, the league announced Monday.

 

Pozuelo becomes the second TFC player to earn the distinction after Sebastian Giovinco took home MVP honors in 2015.

Bloody hell when did Stuttgart get good? Absolutely battered Dortmund and could’ve won more than 5-1. Some of their attacking play was amazing though Dortmund were naive.

 

Bellingham was particularly shite and got subbed off.

Milan scored a 90+2 minute winner against Lazio to go 36 games unbeaten. They are now 10 points ahead of Juventus, who are down in 6th place.

With Inter 2nd as well. Could turn out to be a great rivals title race. Finally someone other than Juve winning the league again.

Bochum beat Mainz last night on pens.

2.0 and made it 2.2 with the last kick of the game with 10 men after the keeper was sent off. Battled through extra-time to then do them on penalties.

He'll go and keep them up now but it's a bloody mad appointment, I knew he'd gone to Basel after Spurs (looks like he did a good job too, in fairness) but had no idea what he'd done after that, didn't even know he was still managing. He's had three spells with the same Saudi club ffs.

 

It's a real "new foreign investors at an EFL club" type appointment.

Similar to here really. Leeds, Aston Villa, Newcastle etc.
