I’m worried about us this season in all honesty. We were utterly shit from January onwards and we’ve not looked a great deal better in the three friendlies I’ve watched. 
 

I know they’re friendlies but we’ve been unspectacular at best. 

 

The players knocking on the door aren’t great and haven’t made a push to challenge those that are missing. 
 

I’m not convinced by the Castigne signing, as ticks a box that says solid Premier League player. Chilwell was underrated by many on here and he’ll be a great player for Chelsea. 
 

Barnes has looked genuinely terrible and Vardy has also been anonymous.

I honestly haven't a clue. Can't see how we arrest the slump from last season with the players we have available. The damage could be done this season before we get Ricardo back, Maddison properly firing and new players in.

 

These opening 2 league games are essential as well that we get positive results. If we don't, then a pasting at Man City and it could be a horrible season. Watford quickly found themselves in disarray after a bad end to the 2018/19 season and a bad start to last season. It doesn't bode well for us right now, but hope we can show some fight and determination to get that zip and confidence back.

Okay, that would be our worst season since promoted, have we really been that terrible recently? 
 

What other 13 teams do you think will be better... just curious. I’m worried about how we played since January, but we have pretty much kept our good players bar Chilwell... I think we will challenge top 6 but fall short
