With Albrighton a safe squad filler, gray an impact sub, and perez being played out of position, I’d be happy to see this guy, if Brooks etc don’t come.

Perez has 2 modes, 1 where he's playing out wide and doesnt offer much as he doesnt cross, doesnt dribble and doesnt cut inside to shoot which are the 3 staple traits of being a winger. The other mode is where he moves centrally into his usual position and this is where he gets almost all his goals and assists from. The games where he's been most effective for us are the ones against opposition that are so bad that he can neglect the first mode and play his favoured position without it effecting the rest of the team, against better teams where we need someone out wide for buildup and to stretch the play he struggles to perform as he's out of his depth in that area. Before people say that this is just BR's tactics there isnt a fluid way for perez to transition between his 2 styles of play so it ends up being clunky in practice.

If of course there's any truth in this. You get the feeling there is one position in the squad as a supporting 10 / Vardy backup and yet we have both Perez and Ian. Good to have options I suppose should we want to go two up top at any point, but if I had to choose between getting a quality RW stater or keeping both Perez and Ian, I'd choose the former. We'd probably be saying goodbye to Ian judging from comments from BR, rash subs and general lack of game time. Shame because I think both are good players and I want them both to succeed. Ideally we'd just get rid of Gray!

Doesn't seem to matter about anything else like goals and assists.

Cengiz Under has been highly rated for several years (rightly so) but went to Roma a bit too early. He was part of the "Monchi generation" when Monchi went there as DOF from Sevilla and tried to replicate the Sevilla model for Roma. It didn't work for them (they needed more time) and Roma were a little impatient. This player has a lot of potential and a new start with a good coach and a close friend could unlock his potential. Sadly, I don't think it will have any substantive bearing.
